Commentary: US-India Nuclear Treaty, Lebenon

Namaste,

Thankyou for this thought provoking analysis of the Bush swearing in chart, showing the current leadership of the US and its decisions. Is that a correct description?

 

With such auspicious factors running , Jupiters influence in navamsa , particularly, suggests to me that wisdom was operating in the intelligence. Does not 'Wisdom' by definition mean that something is beneficial in a wider or more universal realm than purely its own selfish nature? Here in this case , is the countrys leadership? So in essence good for mankind, which includes India?

 

These are just my first thoughts before opening the charts, as I need to fathom the weight of what you have seen from a country's Karma perspective, its leadership and debt to care for mankind. Somewhere I read a telling description of Jupiter- Guru , as the quality of "non- resistance" , and it has always reminded me of the true quality of pure Wisdom= Acceptance of knowledge!, acceptance of Advaita. ( not two) there is no pushing or imposing , or desire for results, which comes more from a Mars influence........or indeed any thought of procurement of advantage over fellow man, Jupiter- Guru is ever generous , is this not so?

Would it be fair to say that the compromises you speak of may not ever fructify, with a strong Jupiter's ( Guru's) blessing?

 

I accept you do not want to comment on the US role in the Middle East.

 

Yet the extreme suffering and also the principals involved mark a very significant turning point in stability for the world, I fear. Somehow understanding these forces at work helps see them operating within our own natures, which is where we all can make a difference. I feel we are not seperate from this torment, no matter how much we put borders around ourselves and attend to our daily tasks.

 

Looking at the qualities evidenced by the events unfolding in Lebenon the greed ( rahu)for security( Mars) seems very evident, which is a lack of trust, of faith and of Jupiters influence. Israels desire for space, is a desire for Akasha- knowledge and wisdom it seems, which is what truly protects.As Jyotishi , our own understanding and revealing of knowledge strengthens this quality of wisdom for all too. Besides which the Middle East gives great practice in showing us our weaknesses and prejudices in judgement. It is where Christianity originated, that birth of an impulse for Tolerance and Love in an intolerant society.
