Guest guest
Dear Sourav,Namaskaar Are you sure about the below mentioned : "Conditional dasa doesn't mean that the dasa will always be applicable no matter what. It has to do with conditions." I was under the impression that if a conditional dasa is applicable then we should stick with that always. For me dwi-saptati dasa applies and seems to work better than vimshottari for all the past events. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krsna || Dear Sameer, Namaskar. Try to not to look at this sentence in isolation. Each dasa shows something. The very word 'dasa' means status or condition we will find ourselves in. If different perspective is taken, then status is different. This is the idea. Vimsottari works for all cases irrespective of whether other conditional dasas are applicable. It is from Parasara and not from me, of course ! There are many tricks to interprest Vimsottari dasa and I am just learning a few from SJC guru's. About conditional dasas, it shows special perspectives. I my case Dwisaptati sama dasa applies and so does Sataabdika dasa. However, I can fully explain with Vimsottari alone and with Dwisaptati, if I take Paka lagna, some of the events can be explained, where as I cannot explain anything with Sataabdika dasa ! May be its because I am me and I cannot have that perspective required. Further, each dasa has a karaka and with positive placement of this Karaka from AK, each dasa becomes more applicable. For Dwisaptati Sama Dasa, take Ketu as karaka and see how Ketu is placed from your AK in the Rasi chart. It it is placed in Trines or Kendras (trines better than kendras) you can expect that this dasa will better explain things in life. I am following the teaching from Narasimha-ji when I said that some conditional dasas work if we are looking at events with focus on the condition (Chaturaseeti with focus on career/achievements in society, coronation etc). Best wishes, Sourav ================================================================= , "sameer_sawhney" <ssawhney wrote: > > Dear Sourav,Namaskaar > > Are you sure about the below mentioned : > > "Conditional dasa doesn't mean that the dasa will always be > applicable no matter what. Guest guest
Dear Sourav Prabhu, Namaskar. Jaya Jagannath! > || Hare Rama Krsna || > Further, each dasa has a karaka and with positive placement of this > Karaka from AK, each dasa becomes more applicable. For Dwisaptati Sama > Dasa In BPHS I could not find the karakas for each dasha. Where should look for it? Is it the graha which creates the condition for the applicability? Is it Rahu for Astottari Sukra for Dwavadasottari Moon for Pancottari Lagna lord for Satabdik?? (Vargottama Lagna)? 10th lord for Caturashiti (Karma lord in karma-bhava)? Dvisaptatai you say Ketu (why?) Surya for Sastihayani etc? Thanks in advance!
Guest guest
Dear Sourav,Namaskaar In my case too there are multiple conditional dasas applicable but I have been advised by Sanjay ji to stick with dwi-saptati. Ketu is in 10th from my AK Mer and Moon suffers from amavsya dosha, probably thats the reason. For example, with the start of Mer dasa in 1998 (dwi-saptati) I suddenly started reading about astrology from various sources. Mercury is AK and 11th lord joined lagna in my case. At the same time my real learning came only after 2002 when I started the Ketu's main period in Vimshottari. I came to know about SJC and the parampara sometime in 2003 and thats when my whole perspective about astrology changed completely. Both are correct according to me and I can not choose one over the other. My details are 27 July 76, 6:25 am, Chandigarh, India.
