Guest guest
Hi, I am a new vedic jyotish learner and learned about delibitation, exaltation, Mooltrikona. I am confused how to judge retrograde and direct motion from the kundli like we judge exaltation for eg: surya is exalted in Aries and delibitated in Libra. Please advise. Guest guest
Dear, IfYou area jyotish learner, then You must be having a panchang. If You see the Planetary positions of different planets, on one day and the succedding day, You will find the next day motion would be one Degree more for the Sun and app.13Degrees more for the Moon etc.from the previous day. Whenevr You find the position next day lesser than the previous day, for planets like Jupiter,Saturn,Venus, Mercury or Mars, that means they are in Retorgrade position.Rahu and Ketu are always retrograde while The Sun and The Moon never retrograde. There are other ways also to check from position of the Sun, how they are placed, but that will come later in Your course. Regards to what are the Mooltrikonas etc. of various planets, You will find this in any elementary book on Jyotish, or if You dont want to spend money at the moment, then on hundreds of Websites giving this info.I can help You only this much. Guest guest
Dear guruji, Please guide me whether I am right track or not. I have purchased several books of jyotish which are prescribed by Bhartiya Vidhya bhawan for Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Bhooshan. I am doing the exercises by picking up the hororscopes of mine, gud friends etc. I am writing all the findings in copy, which is my practice notebook. Please guide whether my methodology is correct or not, if not kindly recommend. 1) First, I see the lagna then I write house by house who is the lord and where he is situated. 2) Second, I see the aspects 7th for all planets and for jup, mars, and saturn special aspects. 3) Third, then I try to find out which planet is exalted. 4) Fourth, find the mooltrikonas. ( I am yet to find out the definition of mooltrikonas as of now I have just learned it planet by planet). Do I have every thing to start a general prediction? If yes, then how do we start, I am very well aware about the vedic history of planets which I read from this group only. Kindly advice, how to go further. Guest guest
Dear, You are on the right track. But the track is very long. You have to decide Yourself when You are ready to predict. Try it for people close to You, friends, close relatives, who know You are studying., then come out to the world. Also learn to cast a horoscope, this will help You in knowing intracasies. Always read what planet will give what effect in which Rashi, for ex. how will Sun behave in Aries, in taurus and so on. Then read how will Sun behave in 1st house, 2nd house and so on. Then learn about conjunctions- what are the effects. Then read how these planets will behave for each Lagna. Let the above become second nature to You, when You would no more have the need to refer to books. Also learn the concept of Bhava Chalit chart. I can go on and on with hundreds of lines like these. But the journey is Yours. To get the pearls You will have to dive deep in the water. God Bless.
