Hi guy's . I am a retired Ayurvedic specialist who has used medical

astrology for years to analyze my client's health through the chakras in

relationship to the planets. Some of you here know of me. I have always told

my clients that when I look at a chart; 50% of the people I look at, their

health problems were obvious, 25% were iffy, and the other 25% fall into a

category that looks like it wasn't even their chart. I am a good Ayurvedic

specialist, but only a mediocre astrologer. My own chart for me falls into

the last category; it doesn't look like me at all, at least through my eyes..

And then there's the old saying, "A physician who has him self as a patient

has a fool for a patient ", I have always played the fool in this area.

Anyway, to make a long story as short as possible. I am going to have lower

back surgery in either September or October. He {my surgeon} is either going

to fuse L5-S1 or replace the disk altogether but he won't know until he gets

in there; it will depend on if he can pry the vertebras far enough apart

{without doing damage} to get the disk in.

I know you shouldn't get operated on during, the waning, a full, or a new

moon. But that's all I know, and like I said my chart does not make since to

me... So! I would humbly ask the experts in this field to take a look at my

chart and try to see what date, in thoughts two months, would be the best

for me to have surgery. Many, many thanks in advance and blessings to all of

you on this forum.

Dear Noel,

>From the looks of your chart, you have helped many

people get to wellness through your selfless service,

and so I very much feel that you deserve some real

support on this. I've been through a number of

surgeries myself and a few reassurances can make

a major difference.

I get 5 Virgo 21 as your vedic ascendant.

I would steer clear of September. Here's why: There's

going to be a whole series of transits over troublesome

Ketu, and I suggest that you let these transits clear.

The spine is related to the Sun, with Saturn as a

secondary significator for Virgo lagna. Some of these

same transits in September need to finish passing over

your Saturn, which for Virgo can be a mixed blessing

as it rules both the fortunate 5H of the spine and the

6H of ill-health or acute health conditions--a mixed

blessing. So the period where the coast starts clearing

is in October.

The date I would suggest is Tuesday, October 10. The

Sun, representing the bones and spine, is well-placed

in the 1H of the physical body. Moon is strong and exalted

in Taurus, adding calmness and gentle healing to the

situation. The two best planets for Virgo lagna are Mercury

and Venus, and they happen to be in a fortunate parivartana

yoga involving the 5H of the spine and the 1H of the general

health. In addition, what is known as 'chandrabala' and

'tarabala' for the Moon are both positive. (Chandrabala is

the Moon's auspiciousness measured from the position of the

natal Moon-sign, and tarabala is the Moon's auspiciousness

measured from the natal Moon's nakshatra...) You're also

avoiding the time of the Full Moon when there is a greater risk

of hemorrhaging. As October progresses, Sun, Venus, and Mars

are going to start bunching up by transit, and in my view, not be

as favorable; Sun and Mars are unfriendly lords for Virgo and it's

better that they not be in close aspect. The main consideration

before going in is to be sure whether your body would heal

naturally after taking off the physical stress after all these years,

or whether there's no recourse other than surgery.

Just as an aside, I am wondering if you have been on your feet

a great deal in your work. Sun, Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius

relate to the hip area, thighs and sciatic nerves and there could

have been some compression of the nerves in that area. Sun is

considered to be weak at 0 degrees Sagittarius and this can relate

to the body's ability to assimilate Vitamin D or perhaps there's

been a lack of it and the situation has influenced the health of

the bones. Just a few random thoughts.

Best wishes, Haizen Paige
