Hi Friends,

I get a constant pain on the left side 4 fingers below the ribs and

3 fingers above the navel. 4 fingers to the left of the navel.

It is a constant pain sometimes I get after eating ( if I eat more).

I also get the pain if I eat something difficult to digest like

fruits along with the skin... or bakery item.. or icecream.

I asked an allopathic doctor and he said it is constipation. but I

am able to pass stool easily once a day.

Tongue indications - My tongue remains covered with white scaling

mainly in the colon area and intestinal area. it is not going away.

I am taking triphala twice. and am performing great restraint in

avoiding outside food. also controlling that I dont eat spicy food

atall. taking khichari and mung dal regularly but still sometimes I

do get this recurring pain.

how much time does it take to heal.

is Ayurved or healing through food really slow.......

some thoughts from the learned and experienced people in this group

would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Jay

Dear Jay,

You could have an ulcer at the entrance to the stomach. This is why you

get the pain immediately after eating. You have not said if you suffer

from acidity problems.

For some relief try to a cup of room temp cold toned milk a few times a

day. A cup of cold jeera water would do if you cannot digest milk.

Regards,

Jagannath.
