Guest guest Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 Dear Friend Namaskar and thank you for your question.........Badraksha is mentioned in the Siva Purana as not being a Rudraksha however a Badraksha looks almost like a brazil nut.....is mostly smooth on the outer surface so it has no formations on the exterior surface of the bead like the half round shape Eka Mukhi Rudraksha....only place I saw Badraksha was in Chennai when we were there in 2001.....however it is not round....it simply looks like a big brown brazil nut so you need to tell your friend that we have not seen anyone selling these in many years.......their shape distinguishes them from the authentic round rudraksha and the half moon shap Eka Mukhi Rudraksha hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best Rudra Center India and America DD , ravi shankar <ravishankar_rbsc wrote: > > Dear Members > > I want to knpw about Badraksha.
