theist Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 The Krsna Concious movement has already been started by Lord Caitanya. See it like a tsunami moving across the ocean. The best thing is to get immersed by this wave and not try to start a new wave based on our material calculating minds. Then if we get fully immersed ourselves the Lord may (or may not) choose to empower us in some large way as happened with Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada had a fixed desire to follow the instruction of his spiritual master and to benefit the fallen living entities, either one or two or millions. In his case Krsna said millions. Otherwise we can set up some institution or organization and call it a Krsna conscious movement. It will have no transcendental potency though unless empowered by Krsna.
