Contradictions galore

Dear Members,

Recently I happened to consult an astrologer, who has studied

astrology from the resources available in Saraswati Mahal Library,

Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, India.

 

The predictions he made was totally at variance with Astrologers

earlier had predicted me.

 

Basically the astrologers who had seen my horoscope have predicted

that my professional life is poised for a turn around somewhere in

2006 albiet some minor setbacks in 2009. And after the end of Sani

Maha Dasa in 2014 and at the age of 56, I will shine professionally

and materialistically.

 

But the gentleman I met has predicted that my Saturn in Lagna and

under the influence of Jyesta Nakshatra and Mars in Aries as sixth

house and Sun in leo as the tenth house would ensure only 40% return

of my effort and should I worship Eswar, Abhirami in Thirukadiyur, a

famous temple in Tamil Nadu, near Mayavaram on Jyeshta Nakshatra every

month for the next 8 years he predicted that my results of efforts put

in may reach 50%. He maintained my best period of productivity is over

by 1993 - The last 2 1/2 years of my Second Sade Sati and before

commencemnt of Sani Mahadasa.

 

For your information I am giving the particulars of my horoscope:

Name: P. R. Venkatesan,

DOB:12/08/1958

TOB:12.39

Place of Birth: Ouilon/Kollam in Kerala.

 

My question is can there be two opposing predictions

 

At the back of my mind is the saying/Kahawat:

Jyotisht can lie but Jyotisha cannot lie.

 

Memebers can kindly through some light on this

Dear friend,

 

The jyotish you consulted recently is right.

 

Generally the astrologers (non-traditional) start

giving prediction just after reading a couple of

published books having no strong backgroup of having

a tradition or guru.

 

In case of your horoscope, for Scorpio lagna Saturn is

3rd and 4th lord- hence not a Yoga Karaka and being

placed in lagna in own constellation doubly ensures

its own moderate result. An enemy in 6th/10th from

dasa lord are sure signs of profesional moderation/

obstacles.

 

So based on these simple reasoning- i agree with his

predictions.
