Confusion on D-9,D-3 in Prashna -finally some discussion

Dear SanjayP,

 

I am afraid that it isn't a typo and that Sanjay intentionally reversed them.

 

There are several specific examples in the PDF where Sanjay asks to see if the past makes sense from drekkana and predict the future developments from navamsa. Given that there are so many specific examples in the PDF, I take it that Sanjay has recently changed his view regarding the use of navamsa and drekkana in prasna and reversed the roles.

 

My own view - based merely on common sense and intuition - is this:

 

(1) Navamsa is the connection between past and future, i.e. it shows the blessings (or lack of them) that are going to come in future as a result of what was done in the past.

(2) Drekkana shows the scope of free will to impact the future.
