In fact, the day after I wrote the query on the groups, I'd found them in Book-11, Chapters 3-7. These describe the powers of each of the beads 1-14 face and talks about stringing mouth-mouth and tail-tail. However, I was interested in knowing about where the combinations are prescribed for Siddha Malas or Indra Malas. Have these come out of the scriptures or are popular due to conventions and belief? It would be nice if you can throw some light on it.
