The birthdata is such that the lagna (D-1) is on the border. It could be, Libra rising with; Ke in 2nd. Sa in 5th. Merc. in 6th. Sun + Venus in 7th. Ra + Gu in 8th. Moon in 9th. Ma in 11 th. Or with the birthtime a few minutes back, the chart could be Virgo rising. The native has married for the second time, has no children, is working in foreign country, is quite well to do, has a prominent position in a world-wide engineering firm but is having this addiction problem. Would it be possible to guess the correct lagna based on this? Ke in 2nd. seems to fit the picture, but for Virgo rising, 2nd. lord Venus would be in 8th. house with the Sun, seems to be also problematic for addictions? That gives Surya as Badhaka in the 7th and in exchange with Mangal in the 11th. Further Lagnesha is with Surya in the 7th with aspect to the 9th house. This gives foreign connections and work in a foreign location (10th lord in the 9th involved). Ketu in Scorpio can give with Shani and Rahu aspecting, and Mangal acting as Badhak aspecting mutually with Shani in the 5-11 axis can give rise to addiction (5th house is intelligence). This is an Unmada yoga combination from the 5th house reference. Shani in the 5th can make a person fault-finding/cynical and Mangal in the 11th can give anger. This axis is 5th and 11th fromPakalagna and according to a recent Atri class, Sanjay-ji clearly stated bad influences in these houses are unwanted. Budha in the 6th is debility of the 12-th lord which is excellent and makes a person possessed of some above-average talent (so that others can be jealous - Budha). What is the tithi of birth ?
