This Ramdev Baba debate seems to stray away from the original point.

Nobody is demeaning or negating the contribution of Ramdev Baba in

popularising Yoga and as an offshoot invoking interest in ayurveda.

However this does not mean that any and every thing he says on

ayurveda should be taken as the authentic version. He himself has

said so in many of his interviews. His speciality and field of

authority is Yoga.

<Why cant we Indians leave the habit of pulling down each other,

instead of co-operating ?>

Yes sure and also we should leave the habit of being highly offended

if someone points out our mistakes and inculcate the habit of

accepting them if we are genuinely wrong.

It is clear that the dosage mentioned is that in case of emergency

situation and not certainly to be used regularly.

Secondly the technically correct term should be heem. But we also

have to consider that phant, heem & kwath are normally termed as

kadha in local languages. So he was not that much off the mark.

However considering the oppurtunity he has, I think Ramdev Baba can

certainly afford a research team to go into all the modalities

before televising his programs.

Further posts on this topic will be posted only if they throw light

on the above mentioned 2 points.

Posts refering to the merits and demerits of Ramdev baba and his

contibution to ayurveda will not be posted if mentioned in this

context.
