Guest guest
Invocation of Maha Laxmi, Sri Yantra Sadhana and Dhanda Havan. DATE; July 30th 2006 TIME;: 10:00AM - 3:00 PM PLACE; Durga Mandir (small hall) Kingston NJ 08820 "Om Aim Hreem Shreem Sri Maha Laxmyei Namah" One of the pancha suktas, Sri Sukta is an intimate adulation and worship of Maha Laxmi, the Mother of abundance. Param Poojya Barphani Dadaji recommends this worship as a daily/weekly ritual helping us remove our limiting constraints in perception. The wealth symbolized by Maha Laxmi is not limited to the physical and material world , but it also applies to the world of NOTHING. In a typical esoteric and mystical sanskruti way, performing sadhana by this sukta ritual opens the world of inner abundance. The sadhana will not be effective unless sadhak or th worshiper completely identifies with the Devi. The Bija Aksharas from the powerful Mahashodasi Mantra have been coupled with each of the Sri Sukta verses allowing our inner vibrations to resonate with the ritual. This sadhan aremoves the inner fears or the fears inflicted by others. MahaLaxmi is portrayed with the Maa Saraswati and Lord Ganesa, who are seated on either side of her. In these images, MahaLaxmi is the embodiment of eternal bliss, that final state of eternal freedom when one recognizes the nature of the true self. Maha Saraswati and Lord Ganesa represent the paths to this new realm of experience. Maha Saraswati represents the path of knowledge and discipline, and Lord Ganesa represents the process of 'removing obstacles,' which is an integral part of Yoga. In this case, the 'obstacles' are our attachments to the material world. Thus, the conceptualization of these three deities together illustrates the importance of both knowledge and individual effort in the recognition of the true self. Om Shrim MahalakshmiyeiNamah, Maha Laxmi's beeja mantra is SHRIM, How does a child think? With the body. It has not learned language; to name, analyze, cognize. But it is aware. It does not know fear. Become a child once again. Unlearn what you have learned. This is where I would like to begin the sadhana or practice. I am the Shakti in You. I am working in You. I am you. Finally Yoga Aaraamam Yoga is both play and rest. Jai Maa Rajyalaxmi
