In navamsha jupiter is in sagittarius and there is no planet in the scorpio. Sun and venus are in aries so they have rashi drishti on scorpio. Sun is strong being in aries. So who is my Ishta devta, Shiva because of Sun or Ganesha because of Ketu being lord of scorpio? I would greatly appreciate a reply. Rao, the karakmasha, though oriented from atmakarak's navamsha must be studied in the rashi chart placements. Was the 12th from atmakaraka specified in source literature pointing at the rashi or navamsha chart? Does an empty sign in 12th from AK indicate a condition different from where there is a planet? Lord of the 12th house in Navamsh from atmakarka placement in navamsha becomes the ishta devta.
