Guest guest
Namaskar, I am a new Vedic Astrology Learner. I was listening the lessons by Mr. Rao. It was very interesting however, I guess he uses board while giving explanation, so we have to imagine as he is in front of us and writing something on board. This becomes very difficult sometimes to comprehend the subject. Any suggestions on this. Q2. When we are seeing the trines i.e. Dharma, artha, kam and moksha. Do we see these trines only in Navamamsha or in all like lagna, moon and navamamsha kundli? Q3. What is an aspect or drishti at vedic level? What are diff. kind aspects one should look from kundli? Q4. There was lots of discussion going on Gayatri Matra, just came into my mind. If suppose I don't know any thing about vedic culture and wants to see the power of Mantra, then what is the basic power of mantra which actually justifies that it has some powers, how should one go about it to see/feel the powers? Thanks for all guidance and support. Regards, Anshul Kapoor
Guest guest
Dear Anshul, At the present I am answering only one question of Yours- regarding Mantras. We are not here to see or witness power of mantras and then put our signatures on the same. Certian things are to be believed rather than want of proof. We dont ask for proof at so many places like when our mother tells us to call so n so person Papa or so n so person Dada etc. But I can feel your question is innocent. I had read a book 20yrs back wherein Morari Bapu (who also appears on TV Now)mentioned that when you want to eat chana, go to the chanawala give him 50 paise and buy yhe same. Dont bother how does the seeding takes place, how much water is to put, what manures, time to harvest etc.Because life is short to waste on matters which have been already understood by our ancestors and peers. Mahamantras are many, shodashakshar (Mahamantra recited by ISCKON) Dwadash akshar Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaya Ashtakhsar Shri Krishna sharnammama etc.to name a few. Proof of the pudding is to eat it. Experience by regular Japa to gauge the power.(At least 16 malas daily) Few years back my daughter was suffering from food poisoning and You will not believe I have used the Ramraksha mantra and see the poison leaving the child within 1 hours time and thus saved hospitalisation. She was unconscious but nearing the end of the 11th recitation she got up............. (The whole story I am not writing here) This was repeated after few years when my son suffered from high fever and was not able tocome out of it even by persistent feeding of parectmol 400mg administered every 1 hour. I got hundreds of instances to prove the value of mantras including Hanuman Chalisa, Sundarkand etc. which have shown miracles, but at the appropriate time they are shown if needed, and only if shradha bhav, vishwas and urgency of solving a delicate problem is exisiting. You may please use recite mantras, but not to check power or witness extraordinary effects, but for general well being only or certain mantras when precarious situations arise. Guest guest
Namaskar Bhaskar ji, Thanks for your reply. You got me right, my intention about mantra power is pure, just a thought came into my mind that's why I asked. Can I learn astrology without a guru? Guest guest
Dear Anshul, Namaste to You too. You can start learning Astrology without a Guru too.Why not? But on the way You will need a Guru to hold your hand when You falter. I have been learning astrology without a Guru for 20 years, but finally started learning under a Guru and am still learning. This may continue for next 5-6 years or so. You see today in such a busy hi-tech lifestyle where we are all meeting unending targets whole day till night comes, we may not find time to regularly go and learn under a Guru. Till that time its Okay if You learn from the Books, but once You have the time You should definitely start attending classes like Bhartiya Vidya Bhuvan etc. in whichever city or place You are. There You get to learn the actual basics, alongwith calculations and also teachers who can clear your doubts. Till You join these classes, You can learn the predective part. Also its not compulsory to have a Guru but preferable. Same goes for Spiritual. If You are good and want to earnestly learn the tecniques of meeting God through meditations etc. You need not worry God will certainly find a Guru for You. Not that people will not find God without Guru. Hope this is okay . Bye Bhaskar. , "Kapoor, Anshul" <anshul.kapoor wrote: > > Namaskar Bhaskar ji, > > > > Thanks for your reply.
