Respected Guru's and Learned Members,

When I was 17 or 18 year old, on Shivaratri known person gave me dvi-

mukhi Rudhraksha in temple. I wore it for almost 3 years and then kept

it aside.

Can I make my daughter wear the same?

Please suggest

Regards,

Shailaja

dear friend

rudraksha can be passed on to your children. however, it needs to

be purified, sanctified, energised and programmed again before your

daughter wears it. i have already mentioned in detail about these

processes in this and other groups long ago.

dwi mukh rudraskha are of three types. one is of nepalese origin

which is small in size and round in shape and is extremely rare and

also highly expensive i.e. over rupees ten thousand per bead.

another dwimukhi bead is from the himalayan region of india and is

small in size and oval in shape which costs a couple of hundreds.

third one is wide and flat in shape and big in size and has various

origins and is easily affordable for just rupees ten per bead.

if you are having the nepalese or himalayan dwimukh rudraksha, you

can pass it on to your daughter but if it is the wide flat big sized

rudraksha, i dont suggest it because it has no substantiation in the

classics and some scientists found that it is not a rudraksha but

another botanical variety which looks like rudraksha.

Thank you very much for the information.

It is considerably big. May be of last category you mentioned.

Thanks again.
