Guest guest
Dear All,. Here is the answer to my Question 2 – Quiz! The correct answer to my quiz is Option 2 which was: "Had a brilliant academic performance. Was a topper all along, in school, graduation, and post graduation. Stood 1st for the state twice. Has to her credit 200 proficiency certificates for various extracurricular activities apart from her outstanding formal education" - Had brilliant schooling (always 1st or 2nd) - The native stood 1st for the state in 10th STD. - Stood 1st at the university at the pre-university level (Arts stream) . - First in graduation. (Bachelor of Arts) - First in PG (MA, M.Phil, JNU) - Has several proficiency certificates for debates, elocutions, NCC (president' sliver medal winner), drama's, compeering, extempores etc. Was extremely popular in school. Congrats to Sreeram Sreenivas. His logic & explanation was the most correct. Quite a lot to learn from his nice analysis. I thought his analysis was nearly perfect. As usual very few people took a shot at the quiz. There were hardly 6-7 responses. I wonder where all the talented jyotishis of these groups have gone!? Most of them got it wrong. Just one more person got it correct using KN Rao's conditional Chara dasha. (I forget his name and am not able to trace his mail, think his name was White) The most important reason for her brilliant academic career was the vargottama debilitated Guru who lords the dusthanas 3rd and 6th. It is placed in the 4th house of education. Guru by itself is excellent here. Sreeram's analysis of combustion is perfect. Combustion always increases the inner qualities (the intangibles) in this case education. Combustion harms the houses the combust planet owns. Mercury the 9th lord getting combust has to add to the good education. To Sreeram's excellent analysis I will add a couple of more points that he probably missed: 1. Jupiter participates in a powerful Gajakesri Yoga. Moon lords the powerful 10th house of public reputation and sit sin the lagna. 2. In Navamsha Guru is debilitated in the 8th house (highly favourable) and aspects the 4th house of education. 3. Saturns's aspect on it's own 5th house and 4th house (retrograde so one previous) is good for education. In Sani dash her brilliant spell had to continue. Regards, Vinay Kumar Posted by: "sreeram srinivas" sreeram64 (AT) satyam (DOT) net.in Sre_eram Wed Jul 19, 2006 12:06 am (PST) I would opt for the option - TWO. 2. Had a brilliant academic performance. Was a topper all along, in school, graduation, and post graduation. Stood 1st for the state twice. Has to her credit 200 proficiency certificates for various extracurricular activities apart from her outstanding formal education. Analysis: The Mahadasha Lord is Jupiter upto 21 Aug. 1973 - Aug. 1989. Jupiter is 3HL & 6HL and is debilitated and is also vargottam. ( Note Jupiter position in D-9 ). Debilitated planets of Upchaya Houses give excellent results in their mahadasha. This Jupiter is conjunct with 11HL Sun & 9HL & 12HL Mercury(Combust). Combust Mercury adds the required "fire" to the debilitated Jupiter catapults the qualities of Jupiter. Jupiter is wisdom, Mercury is intelligence. The father of all fires.....11HL Sun conjunct to "already burning planets "!!!! Sun is in short is giving its "lustre and sheen" in 4H of education. Adding to above the 4HL & 5HL Saturn is retrograde and having come out debilitation. This retrograde Saturn is in the house of Venus i.e. Taurus....supposed to give excellent results for the dispositor of Saturn is in 3H i.e. 8HL is in 8H from itself !!! That too in Jupiter Sign !!! This Venus is conjunct with Rahu both in Jupiter sign and that too in 3H. House of communication and exceptional courage..... Venus gives the native to delve deep into research topics or ability to probe.......It is a sure shot for exceptional educational career !!! Further, Sun is exalted in D-9 alongwith Ketu & Mercury !!! Three strong benefics in kendra to 4H.....hence, got to be good.. Jupiter is in Nakshatra of Uttarshada whose Lord is Sun !!! ( upachaya house lord + upachaya house ) Sun is in Nakshatra of Shravana whose Lord is Moon !! ( royal planet combination -sanyog...) Mercury is in nakshatra of Shravana whose Lord is Moon ! ( mercury in moon lordship gives good results ) Venus is in the nakshatra of Poorva Ashada whose Lord is Venus!! ( own self !! ) Rahu is in nakshatra of Poorva Ashada whose Lord is Venus ( Rahu -Student is in the mind control of Venus - Guru ) !!! With so many things confirmed and so apparent...... I would once again reaffirm my belief on Option -TWO of the total four choices given in the original mail of Mr. Vinay Kumar posted in Vedic-astrology forum & Jyotish Group & KNRao Jyotish Groups.......all at .com with regards, sreeram srinivas sreeram64 (AT) satyam (DOT) net.in Cell : 98682-31817
Guest guest
Congratulations to Sreeram Srinivas for coming up with correct answer with brilliant analysis. There is something to learn from this chart. A very weak jupiter has given exceptional results by ownership of 3rd and 6th houses. Thank you, David Hawthorne -- - David Hawthorne David Hawthorne Thursday, July 13, 2006 8:54 AM Re: Question 2 Dear Vinay... My comments are at the bottom of the email, so others can work on the quiz without my influence. best wishes, david hawthorne - Vinay Kumar ; KNRaoJyotish Wednesday, July 12, 2006 12:51 PM Question 2 Dear Members, Here's another 1 question quiz. Cast a chart for this data: January 27, 1973, POB Coordinates: 17N32, 80E39 (Kottagudem, Andhra Pradesh, India) TOB:1:25 AM, Sex: Female, Lagna is Thula, Navamsha Lagna is Mithuna. I can assure members that the time of birth is correct. Question: Comment on her academic performance (formal education) all through her childhood (say age 8 to age 24 years). What was the general drift like? I am giving 4 options. Only one of them is true. Others are clearly wrong. The options are: 1. She had a terrible academic peformance. Was a dullard. Just managed to pass in most of her school and university life. Took no interest in studies. Failed twice, once in school (1988) and once in college (1992) 2. Had a brilliant academic performance. Was a topper all along, in school, graduation, and post graduation. Stood 1st for the state twice. Has to her credit 200 proficiency certificates for various extracurricular activities apart from her outstanding formal education. 3. Experienced an average academic performance. (55% to 60% for most of her educational years. Never did better) 4. It is the horoscope of a school dropout (dropped out in 1988), who did not continue her education. I look forward to your answers with your astrological rationale for your answers. Regards, Vinay Kumar From age 11 to 29, the native was running the rahu mahadasha. rahu is well placed in the third house of mental development, closely conjunct jupiter, ruling the third house, and sun, ruling the eleventh house of gains. i think she gained great mental acuity and had a brilliant academic performance (#2). saturn, ruling the fifth house, placed in the eighth house, could give good research and language capabilities. the libra rising sign is also noted for intelligence. mercury, in the third house, gives keen intellect. - Vinay Kumar KNRaoJyotish ; ; vedic astrology Wednesday, July 19, 2006 12:07 PM Anwer to Question 2 Dear All,. Guest guest
Dear Vinay, I would like to comment. Hitting correct prediction and giving correct analysis are two different things. You said that 'his logic and explanation are most correct'. I beg to differ. I don't think him right here. For instance, he has taken 4th house for education. Shri K.N.Rao and many others take 5th house. Then, in my opinion, he had exaggerated the role of the Sun and Mercury. Real reasons still lie elsewhere. I didn't cast the horoscope till you posted the answer as I feel some conditions and prequalifications necessary for posing such queries. Purpose of writing this mail is to save people from being misguided. Giving correct predictions is the most difficult task. An instance or two of correct predictions is not a proof of correct analysis. Then here your question was objective type (multiple options given) where even a stranger could hit to the correct choice. Therefore, be careful to accept a reasoning as correct unless a person gives consistently good predictions. Guest guest
Dear Group, I never thought that after having got the correct prediction, some genuine queries would evoke such a response. While congratulating Shri Srinivas for his correct prediction, I would request him to use words like "cheapsceptics" as everyone around is a learner and learning has various stages and each one of us are at a different rung of the ladder and it is our duty to help our friends who are desirous of learning this divine science. And after the clarification by Shri Vinay, I would give Taurus Navamsha to the lady with fifth lord of horoscope and fifth lord of navamsha aspecting the fifth house. Intriguing thing was that education was in the dasha of Jupiter, which is debilitated third lord in the fourth house and Jupiter is also the sixth lord. In case if someone adopts fourth house for education then it is particularly bad for education. regards, Manoj Groups are talking. We´re listening. Check out the handy changes to .
