How to do Laxmi Puja

Omm, the explanation on performing Laxmi puja was not mine to give,

it belongs to Rudra Centre website, and most importantly to

MahaLaxmi and the sages who practiced, recorded and attained results

from this particular puja.

 

Don't worry, we won't mistake what you're saying. We understand your

point of view in a certain aspect. In fact, we thank you for sharing

what you think and feel.

 

However, would you consider that since Laxmi is Vishnu's Shakti

(spouse) and Narayana is one avatar of Vishnu, when one prays to

Laxmi, he/she also gets Vishnu's blessings. When we worship Vishnu,

we also get Laxmi's blessings by extension as they are linked,

married.

 

Just going from the top of my head (correct me if I'm wrong)

When it comes to worship of Shaligram, then Vaishnavite tradition of

having Tulsi Leaves adorning or surrounding Shaligram is important

as Tulsi is Laxmi and Shaligram is Narayana.

 

Other that this, the above bits are largely generalized as there are

more Smarta Hindus these days who are open to trying anything that

works. Whether Shaivite, Vaishnavite, Smarta, Shakta, doesn't

matter. Its what works for each individual thats more important.
