Kriya Yoga.

Dear members,

 

Kriya Yoga is a term which we are all well aware of whether it

is being done by us or not in practice due to various

constraints or restraints is a seperate issue individually.

This term is normally used in a generalised manner in our

talks or communications in our own friend circles, just to

make them aware that we too know about it.

But when we link this Kriya Yoga with a great persona like Shri

Paramhansa Yoganandji, there comes a difference. When we talk

with reference to Shri Paramhansa Yoganandas Kriya Yoga and

expound his theory or propogate Kriya Yoga as Shri Paramhansa

Yoganadas, then we fall under a bracket or school of well

defined boundaries laid down by these great Gurus., out of which

we are not supposed to falter or step out.

Kriya Yoga as taught by Shri Yoganandji has only to be taught under

Paramparik Guru Shishya manner, under Gurus who are qualified to

do so and those associated legally with the Yogoda society.

If we read the books of Yogoda centre then we will find reference

to this point.Even a reading of Autobiography of A Yogi is enough to

bring forth this point. Shri Mahavtar Babaji taught this to

Shri Lahiri Baba who again taught this to Shri Yukteshwarji who

again taught the same to Shri Yoganandji. After Yoganandji it is

the duty of his followers Sri Daya Daya Mata who was made the

next in charge of this great insttitution who is allowed to teach the

great Kriya Yoga technique (as taught by Yoganandji) through her

other disciples in the centre. It is a strict rule that even a

senior student is not allowed to teach the junior student(lest he go

wrong in his way of practising) but has to learn from the Gurus who

are having regular practise sessions which one is to attend

voluntarily and not compulsorily. Also if any of You are a

member and have the energy excersisation booklet , you will

find in bold letters written there "Confidential" only for members.

This is not written there just to make people 'pay Fees and then we

will teach' because their fees are paltry and not even compensated

by the literature they send regularly for next 3 years. It is written

because they have to extoll this shiksha only through Guru Shishya

Parampara as well meant laid down rule by their Guru, and not other

ways.Only those who are qualified by the Yogoda Institute (they have

their own spiritual tests) can do this with permission from the

Yogoda centre and under thier guidance and know how.

I had sent one more mail to this effect in the morning but do not

know why it was not posted. Anyway no offence meant to Shri Tarunji,

or his good intentions. It was my duty to write this lest we fall

under the sword of bad omens instead of blessings coming forth

from this great lineage of Gurus.
