Guest guest Posted July 19, 2006 Report Share Posted July 19, 2006 dear friends in the group you have the freedom to write what all you want to know or seek answers or request information or just do anything as you like. you have no right to intrude the messenger and IM to the astrologers and then press buzz frequently and demand an instant reading freely. many of your behaviours show that you are all under an illusion of either of the following: 1. this group is an NGO funded by the group owner and the group owner or some Bill Gates Foundation, who have provided computers and internet connections to all astrologers in this group. so you can enter into chat with any astrologer and QUESTION or DEMAND as to why the astrologer will not leave all his other works and entertain the chat and answer all the queries instantly because they are 24 hour paid workers in this group. 2. the astrologers who visit this group are billionnaire philanthrophers and have got so many computers, libraries, internet connections and all 24 hours sitting idle desperately searching with wide eyes for any querents so that they can dole out free chats for several hours and treat the querent as god to come to receive his daan (time, internet and astro knowledge) and make him feel grateful to the querent. many querents post the same query in several groups and also email to individual emails of various astrologers. most of them never came back. once there was a problem with a person and i asked him to furnish the birth details of all his family i.e. wife and children, reall all their charts spending several hours and wrote a lengthly mail only to find that he never came back to check this mail. since all these querents post mails from a computer (desktop or laptop) they must be aware of the following: 1. for having a computer you need to invest money in it. 2. to have internet connection you need to pay monthly rentals e.g. i pay rs.1220 per month for my sify internet connection. 3. to maintain the computer, we need electricity, workstation and airconditioner. 4. to answer so many queries and give references to those who demand the basis of our predictions, we need to maintain a library of several astro books costing thousands of rupees. 5. all astrologers are expected by these to do 24 hours free service only for these querents without jobs, without earning money for their own food, clothing, shelter and to maintian this computer to answer queries. yesterday one 20 year lad prathosh who has no job and having financial problems pestered me for an hour asking me to read for his future wife, arranged or love, how she looks and whether she shows good love or not. i told him to post the query in the group which he did and even got few answers. till he pestered me to give my answer also. this boy does not know the priorities of life and demands free services from astrologers in private. i wish to say once to all querents that it is my personal principle not to give a second reading in the groups once a reading is given by another astrologer, because it only adds confusion. then another lady anupama comes at midnight and demands instand answering of her query. i told her that i answer freely only in groups and my private chats are only for my paid customers. she questions why this discrimination and then she uses strong words like money minting and other strong words and threaten to leave the group abusing all astrologers as bad. some querents even tried to blackmail and used pressure tactics to get free readings in several cases but am not disclosing them. in the last few years, hundreds of such querents intruded into my private mails and chats demanding free services. i have patiently answere 90% of them freely and requested the balance 10% to post only in the groups. hence am making it clear to all querents that my private chats and email services are privileged only for my paid customers and querents may intrude into the private chats only if they are willing to have paid servcies. in the groups, myself and various more learnt astrologers give thier readings freely, time permitting. hence please do not intrude into the private chats of astrologers for demanding free services instantly. with best wishes and blessings Pandit Arjun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are few prevailing practices involving reading requests: a. people seldom disclose their identity b. instead of putting down their astrological views, they post questions, assuming forum members have responsibility to answer, at the cost of their professional works c. these requests are posted across forums and posted privately to participating memebers (as Pandit Arjun ji also pointed out) d. if requests are not answered instantly, there are impatient repeat requests e. people post request for their friends, relatives (often leading to breach of trust) Posting reading request is still acceptable, as these helps students to learn from it. and These self less service by astrologers must be respected. Coming to people announcing their paid services / posting their contact details etc - In my view, there is nothing wrong in soliciting client. In most professional services, forums / workshops / media etc are the only means through which professional can seek clients. In happens in all professions, so what is wrong if an astrologer do? Also, these fellow astrologers are not forcing anyone to come to them for paid consultation. It is people, who are going to them for consulation (or say in rude words - it is people, who need these services), so they better pay for it (if astrologer does it for fee). The best approach for querents can be: a. post their request with complete data (and past events) on any one forum (as most members are participating across forums. Such multiple posting, does not get good response b. Be patient, if one has posted query. If the querent, has knowledge of astrology (or had session with another astrologer) - must post rationale for specific queries. This helps the fellow astrologers to review the query in right perspective. c. Encourage people to post their own queries. If the query warrants private reply, then astrologers are sensible enough to address accordingy. d. post meanigful queries to get quick response. Astrologer can see so many things, but will seldom address less relevant / pressing questions. Also, post specific question, instead of general reading request. e. do not breach the privacy of astrologer and be kinder to them. f. do not post query without signature. this does not get good response.
