Guest guest
Dear Shri Dasa, Thank you. In that case, generally speaking, suppose the Moola Dasha of a Graha in Kaala Paavaka D-60 is followed by that of a Graha in Vahni, then it could be taken to mean that the elixir that might have come from the fire of destruction would be digested to enrich life, all other factors remaining constant. Would you agree? Otherwise, how are these Shashtaymshas construed in reading results of Grahas in the Moola Dasha? Regards. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Anuraag-ji, namaskar. This is stretching the philosophy. The exact nature of events should be rooted to the D-60 chart and should be checked in the D-1 chart. For example, a planet in Bhrasta Sashtiamsa shows that in the past life the native did not follow/fulfill the desired work or promise and must do so this life but will face lot of difficulties in doing so (to balance negativity of karma). Please follow Lesson # 46 of Narasimha-ji where he gave a good measure of hints as to how to use these deities with predictions. He elaborately described Sanjay-ji's chart of which he was sure about Sashtiamsa lagna. Hope you enjoy that mp3 as much as I did. http://vedicastro.home.comcast.net/ <http://vedicastro.home.comcast.net/> Best wishes, Sourav ========================================================================\ ======================================= , "Anurag Sharma" <anuraagsharma27 wrote: > > Dear Shri Dasa, > > Thank you. Guest guest
Dear Sourav Ji, To continue our conversation, of course one is aware that these things are to be seen in the D-60 as that would show the past Karma. I was actually being specific in that regard but just did not have the specific connotations associated with the various deities in the D-60. Hence the query. In one's chart 11th June, 1972; 10:17:52 AM (rectified); Cuttack, Orissa the D-60 Lagna is most likely correct. Visti and I had sat on this at SJC Attri a while back and found Ketu aspecting Lagna explaining Jyotish with Guru in the 4th. I asked about 'Kaala Paavaka' and 'Vahini' specifically because the Rahu Moola dasha since 1990 is in Kaala Paavaka and participates in heavy afflcition and curses both in Rashi and D-60. Of course, Moola Dasha is applied just to Rashi and still gives results in this life's curses and auspicious times as in Sanjay Ji's paper on Shraapa. But since Moola shows the root, it is better to trace the origins of the Graha's Karma in the D-60. Interestingly, since birth, the Dashas have been all adverse, save for Ketu (who does not curse, along with the Sun). Of course, afflictions to Ketu and the Sun can lead to curse of the Nagas and the father respectively. The upcoming Moola Dasha of Mercury appears to be better placed although the Badhak and the 8th Lord associate. Still, it is not a part of the curse to the Moon, caused by Rahu and Saturn and the allied Pitri Rina in the 10th as too the Sun affliction and the afflictions to the 6th and the 10th. Therefore, the query as to the meaning of the term 'Vahni' as Mercury is in Vahni D-60. These things are important to judge the tenor of life, what has passed and what is likely to arrive in terms of past Karma. Keeping in view all these factors, which of course I'd not put up prior to this, thinking I would muse on my own once the technical meanings of the two names of the D-60 deities, I had ventured the hypothesis about the Manthan of destructive Kaala paavaka and the upcoming Vahni. Visti and I had sat on > this at SJC Attri a while back and found Ketu aspecting Lagna > explaining Jyotish with Guru in the 4th. [sourav]: Guru in the 4th will give traditional studies. But Surya in the 5th in Navamsa varga chart shows the inclination for jyotish. Surya is AK and not linked to 5th/11th house in Rasi chart (except that Surya's navamsa-dispositor is 11th lord in Rasi chart and aspects 5th house). Check which dasa/antar you first started learning jyotish. > > I asked about 'Kaala Paavaka' and 'Vahini' specifically because the > Rahu Moola dasha since 1990 is in Kaala Paavaka and participates in > heavy afflcition and curses both in Rashi and D-60. Of course, Moola > Dasha is applied just to Rashi and still gives results in this > life's curses and auspicious times as in Sanjay Ji's paper on > Shraapa. [sourav]: All dasas are applicable to Rashi chart and specific varga chart. Kaala Paavaka is destructive fire or fire of dissolution. Rahu is involved with Surya and Shani to give matru-shaapa. It afflicts debilitated Surya in D-60 and is aspected by debilitated Shani. Ra-Shani period shows trouble caused out of wrong desires (3rd house). However, Mangal is 9th lord (dharma) and causes neecha-bhanga to Surya and shows that relief can only come through performance of dharma. Troubles in marriage and relationships is quite likely and Rahu owns 7th house. > > But since Moola shows the root, it is better to trace the origins of > the Graha's Karma in the D-60. > > Interestingly, since birth, the Dashas have been all adverse, save > for Ketu (who does not curse, along with the Sun). Of course, > afflictions to Ketu and the Sun can lead to curse of the Nagas and > the father respectively. [sourav]: Ketu may cause curse to fall upon us due to mistakes. Ketu cannot have graha-drishti and hence it is not due to wrong desire. Even mistakes are rooted in karma. Surya can cause due to ego. In your case Ketu is in the 9th house and will give you karmic protection (9th house graha). Besides it is 4th lord in the 9th. > > The upcoming Moola Dasha of Mercury appears to be better placed > although the Badhak and the 8th Lord associate. Still, it is not a > part of the curse to the Moon, caused by Rahu and Saturn and the > allied Pitri Rina in the 10th as too the Sun affliction and the > afflictions to the 6th and the 10th. [sourav]: Budha is in Vahni sashtiamsa. Vahni means any animal that draws or bears along viz. horse etc. It also applies to Agni, Indra, Savitri, Maruts etc. It is the conveyor or bearer of oblations to the gods (sacrificial fire or agni) and is fire in general . It is also digestive fire (fire into which food is sacrifices). Now Budha is 2nd and 11th lord debilitated in the 8th house shows some testing period in finances and gains. However, debilitation is cancelled by Guru in the 4th (knowledge). Hence this shows a period of learning as well. It could be jyotish (Budha is 5th from Guru). In the Rasi chart, Budha is in own house in the 11th (which is 4th from the 8th and represents vidya of the 8th or esoteric sciences). This is fully aspected by Guru in the 5th (chitta) showing that it you will have high motivation and desire of this learning. Mangal is badhaka no doubt but associations of benefics help. Mangal represents your Dharmadevata and worship of Narasimha (Mangal in a male sign) will remove your obstacles. Incidentally, just when I am writing this, an e-mail came with pictures of a baby son of my sister. Hence this is an auspicious omen and bodes well for you for this dasa. > Therefore, the query as to the meaning of the term 'Vahni' as > Mercury is in Vahni D-60. Guest guest
Dear Sourav Ji, Your message below is very informative about the specific connotation of the deities, and this is the purpose for which I had written initially. I began reading Jyotish in right earnest in Guru-Budh though initial, faltering snippets came through vague TV channels in the Shani Antar and the Sade-Sati. In a sense, the Yoga in the D-60 explained some deep seated troubles in relationships. I have been understanding this aspect through the Matri Shrapa, showing intense mental suffering, and yet a lot of benefic grace coming through other Grahas, showing that this may be washed off and advances made. Particularly because the AK Surya is in Bhrashta Amsha showing the need to fulfill some promise. Spirit and Jyotish have appeared 'as of course' showing that this is a large part of the Karma. AK is also Lagnesh and shows understanding through the intellect. Sun in the 10th House in Rashi encourages me that once the Shrapa is over and remedied, there is hope for Karya Siddhi. About Budh, it is a great positive that you had such a wonderful omen. I keep a Guru Vrata for the UL in the 8th House and to have an omen related to a baby is surely Guru's blessings and kindness. I will share with you that a similar omen about children (Guru) came on the previous Guruvar when I was fasting for the Upapada! I got an e-mail about childrean from a service I to, but had never received such an e-mail prior to that. Also, initiating this fast has been difficult because UL is in the 8th House and Guru is Vakri in Dhanu Rashi in the 5th Bhava from the Lagna. Budh. I agree with the interpretation. It would show Jyotish and the Parampara, being in the 11th. Perhaps regarding debility in D-60 and also because there is Neechabhanga there, Maharshi Jaimini's dictum for Artha matters: Tasmin Uchche Neeche Va Srimantaha will apply as Budh is Swagrahi and aspects the 11th from the AL, besides lording it in Rashi. Unless the dictum is not to be applied in the D-60 even for Artha matters. You have correctly pointed out Ketu's role in the D-60 as the 4th Lord in the 9th Bhava. Just before its Antardasha in the Moola Dasha, I can feel some Dharmic/ Karmic protection. The knowledge pertaining to the past life has come, there is closeness with the Atman and spirit and a broad and vague sense of Karma to be done with pleasure and duty. Jyotish, other work, maybe even a celebration of detached Rajas. Budh is also DK in this lifetime. Maybe I will be permitted to carry Karma as oblations, Jyotish Karma, societal Karma... I am also hopeful due to the Parijata Yoga/ Kalpavriksha Yoga in which Budh participates in Rashi. Perhaps this knoweldge will come, without the Moola Dasha curses of the past lives, activated since birth and the Jnana will be a celebration of both participation and communication. Let us see. But this is sacred knowledge, this of the D-60 and as we participate as Nimittas, it is incredible how lucky we are to know. Many, many thanks for your learned views and the considerate time spent on the chart. I am enriched by it all. Regards.
