Guest guest
Dear RR, i was told by PL team that NEW KP is to use ur own ayanamsa can be KP-1, KP2 ETC the new title will remain. or even TA1, TA2/ RR-1-RR2 also still te new kp tab will remain. I guess goravani may give some answer like it users who use goravani can say more. I am PL 6 user. and Visual Jyotish 3 user too. BTW i know many KP users who use RAMAN'S AYANAMSA for KP paddathi. crystal pages <jyotish_vani (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> wrote: Dear forum members, A few years ago it was mentioned that there are two types of Krishnamurthi ayanamsha, the traditional value (the one that is different from Lahiri by 6 minutes) but there was a new KP ayanamsha that showed up in a couple of versions of Goravani Jyotish and Parashara Light. Anyone knows what this 'new' KP value was and what was the story behind its need? Guest guest
Yes Kumar ji, I too have run into KP practitioners using Raman ayanamsha, and a few who have refrained from using Placidus houses and cusp at the beginning of the house, the two elements in KP that were big departures from the rest of Jyotish. I understand that now a days KP followers use not just sign-star-sub- but finer sub-sub-subs which hopefully represent advancement to Shri Krishnamurthi's original system brought to light through the blessings of Uchchishta Ganapati as stated by him. Guest guest
May I step into your discussion MessrsRR And Kumar I am of the view that you did not get a chance to view ASTROWONDER. This has been recently renamed from AstroWorks. You have about 10 different ayanamasas to select to your choice besides you can calculate your own if you have requsite datas. I wonder how come an astrologer could do anything by suiting Raman ayanamsa for KP predictions and without Placiduss .I too know an astrologer naming him as "KP Asstrologer"using equal system. There are "thamasas" in all walk. In AW you have KP Refined ayanamsa and KP old ayanamsa with a difference of 6 min.approximately ( rather not always). This is with sub-sub-sub calculations for both bhavas and planets.True Rahu and Mean Rahu calculations are igven as your choice.I am using this AW for the past 6 years and my results are highly satisfactory. As you mentioned Goravani, it suits to Goravani in style and calculations. It also has a huge Data box of more than 3 lakh locations around the globe.
