Mr. Dhawan,

This very popular term "Parashari System" is a very loosely defined

(ill-defined) and lazy term. What would be your definition of it,

keeping in mind that Parashara in BPHS talks about earlier sages

without necessarily demarcating which section or rules given in BPHS

come from those earlier giants.

There are many additional things given in others texts, such as those

attributed to Kalidas, Varahamihir, Mantreshwar, etc. When you

say 'Parashari' are we to assume that you are not including the

contributions suggested by these and other fine astrologer, and sages?

Please elaborate ...

Dear all,

its a case of churning butter from the milk and then talking detrimental

about the milk. All specialisation has ultimately come from the base Parashari.

What other systems are we talking about which can give 100% results and better results also, I am unable to understand. I would like to learn them.

Please name those systems. Also as far as I know only a Yogi who practises

conscious and unconscious meditation deeply and regularly, shall have access to 100% knowledge about any native. Nowadays it has become a fashion with most, to talk otherwise about Parashari from where we have learnt all, from where we have got recognition, respect etc. Remove Parashari from the Jyotish systems and then we will see who can produce what . Anyway nothing personal. The name Parashari when uttered should evoke respect, reverence and total submission and faith by all Astrologers, novices or experts.

Bhaskar.

I agree, Mr. Maheswari, one should call milk, milk. Or in this case

Jyotish -- without fragmenting it!
