namaskaar

shasti amsha is higher divisinal chart normally used to deliniate

higher supra conscious plane. 10th shastimasha division in case of

odd sign is called as vanhi and kaalpavaka in case of even sign,

majaraly shastiamsha is divided into two categary soumaya and kruraa.

soumya shastiamsha gives good result wheer as kruraa gives inauspicious

results.shastiamsha is also used to evaluate shodasvarga strength of

planet

as per parashara,

3,4,5,6,13,14,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,24,25,26,27,28,29,37,38,39,45,46,

49,50,53,54,56,57,58 and 60th shastiamsha of any sign odd or even is

soumya and rest is kruraa.

vanhai and kalapavaka being 10th shatiamsha falls in categary of

kruraa sugesting inauspicious results.

but these shud be aplied in light of other predictive tools. cannot be

aplied in isolation
