Guest guest
Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters, Om Sri Sai Ram. Prayers to Bhagawan that Swami's Divine Grace be with each and everyone of you at all times. The Sri Rudram chant is an ancient Vedic hymn, and is the oldest example of a listing of various names of Lord Siva. Through the chanting of Sri Rudram, Lord Siva's various attributes and aspects are invoked andworshipped. Chanting the Rudram is considered to be of great benefit. The Rudram chanting can be done with or without the accompaniment of a Vedic yagna ritual. When accompanied with the Vedic fire ritual, it is called the Rudra Yagnam. It is said that Lord Shiva after Basmasura was killed with the Help of Lord Maha Vishnu performed the Tandava Dance and then Performed the "Rudra Yagna" for the Betterment of Humanity, this Place where the Rudra Yagna was performed is where the "Sri Kalahasti" Temple stands now, this temple also has one of the 12 Jyothirlingas of Parameshwara. There is no other mention of this Rudra Yagna ever been performed after that as This Maha Yagnam has to be Performed in the Presence of Divinity itself, Our Sai Shiva is performing it now. That is the significance of this Rudra Yagnam and we are about to witness something Divine and which has happened only once before. Guest guest
Sai Ram Brothers and Sisters, Thank you brother Mahadevan for the kind information to the devotees world over. I can not sayy that I read, but heard a very enlightened soul decribe that THE ATi Rudra Yagnam was done by priests when Ghazni was conquering Somnath Temple. Since the devotion was probably not strong enough, the Yagnam did not protect the Somnath Temple and a great HIndu Temple was destroyed, and the huge 40 feet tall Shiva LIngam was demolished. Again. I did not read about this, but I heard this in a lecture. It is indeed our Koti, Koti Janam punyam to be with Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba, who himself is Shiva Shakti, is supervising and getting the Yagnam performed, Yagnapati himself is performing the Ati Rudra Yagnam for benfitting teh Humanity. Let us all pray sincerely, that this Yagnam will see to it that the World Peace, Sai Golden Era, and Universal Love will rein the Earth for time immemorial. Let us all sincerely pray together for Loka Kalyaanam. NAmaste Meena Chintapalli kumar mahadevan <mahadevan12 (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters, Om Sri Sai Ram.
