Guest guest
Dear Haizen and et al. Thank you so much for the detailed analysis! But, wow, I was doomed from day one!! Seriously, in some ways I have always felt not "well", but in other ways I have always been amazed at how well I have done considering the extreme self abuse I have done to myself over a good portion of my life. I would imagine the Aires and Mars combination contribute to this strength, (which I did not fully utilize early on!!) You mentioned "..... stabilize the health later on." and "..... recovery from making certain life- style changes beyond what standard medicine would view as possible and efficacious." Can you elaborate on this? I mean, in so many ways I feel so fortunate and believe all of this has been a blessing. Are there indicators in my chart that would show this reversal or stabilization? I would imagine the mahadasha of Mercury starting in the end of 2012 would be a period where I would have to be vigilant in watching my health. Also, I have been trying to get a better understanding of the ninth house and how it impacts my spiritual journey. My ninth is ruled by Jupiter, Ketu in residence, aspected by Jupiter, Rahu (obviously) and Venus, at least by my novice analysis. In general, my interest in spiritually started right around the begining of my mahadasha of Saturn. There was a definite interest, but it was more of academic pursuit; It was like I was testing the water but did not fully jump in until the MS diagnosis. Once again, thank you and all the others who have helped me increase my knowledge of jyotish and its direct impact on my life. Guest guest
Dear Charles et al, This is DR.PRK Prasad with you here.I am afraid my previous message was not delivered to the group.I am basically a super specialist surgeon- a NEUROSURGEON.I am a KATAK RASI & LAGNA subject with Jupiter in Leo(2nd house),Rahu in Libra(4th House),Saturn in Scorpio(5th house),Mercury with Ketu in 10th house(Aries),Sun in 11th house(Taurus) & lastly Venus with Mars in Gemini in the 12th house. My sade satti of Saturn started on 22nd Sept'2002.My daughter who s a Gemini by Rasi & Libran by Lagna had her sade satti starting in Aug'98.As the saying goes, the FIRST Sade Satti affects one's parents & it badly affected me & my wife.My wife & daughter left for USA to seek greener pastures there. My daughter had to go to a hostel & we three were thrown in different locations on this planet. We were a very happy family until 1998.I developed difficulty in swallowing with vague discomfort behind my chest bone.I underwent multiple coronary angiograms and stenting as it was erraneously diagnosed as severe coronary artery disease with unstable angina (probably due to Jupiter in Leo).I did not find any improvement in the basic difficulty in swallowing despite the coronary arteries stenting & then as the difficulty worsened,I insisted on a gastro-oesophageal endoscopy. It was done at my insistance & to everyone's surprise,I was found to have a malignacy in the throat & upper oesophagus.I underwent the Chemo & Radio therapy regimens prescibed & after much suffering for last 4 years, was finally declared as cured of the malignancy.I am now running my Venus Mahadasa with Jupiter subdasa.Recently,I had to undergo THREE OPERATIONS for impacted urinary stones(probably b'cos Venus rules one's genitals). I never ever believed in astrology/any futurological science until I was devastated with all the above events overtaking me & hauling me over board on innumerable occassions. Now I use this science as a guiding scienceONLY to forewarn myself & prepare myself mentally & otherwise.Hence I became a member of this enlightened group.to learn more about this ? occult ? scientific subject to do everything humanly possible at my disposal to prevent such devastating occurrances in my future life.I think & firmly believe that THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ONE SHOULD UTILISE THE PREDICTIONS OF THIS FUTUROLOGICAL SUBJECT. Another fact that I must emphasise is NOTHING CAN BEAT ONE"S SPIRIT if one emboldens himself to battle on all fronts & overcome the physical affliction. The ATMA IS INDESTRUCTIBLE WHILE THE PHYSICAL FORMS ARE ALWAYS DESTRUCTIBLE.So when faced with seemingly impossible to win situations, develop spiritual strength & fight out as I have done.I refused to let the malignancy overtake my spirit & continued to work both to get over my depression & divert my mind from the nagging physical afflictions. I sincerely hope this will help all the group members who face similar situations. ----- Fight back spam! Guest guest
Dear P.R.K. Prasad, Namaste I would need to defer to qualified astrologers for better insight, but here is what I can write from my view: >From my limited knowledge I do not see the heath difficulties clearly in your chart because lagnesh Moon is in lagna with no affliction by aspect or conjuction of malefics. Both of the health issues you've mentioned are primarily Kapha related and the Kapha nature is seen clearly by your Lagna. So that part does make sense to me. The only health indicator that is afflicted as far as I can tell is Sun who is afflicted by Saturn (7th & 8th lord). Therefor, I would think that your health issues must be indicated in your chart by this Sun/Saturn mutual aspect. And this what Prashant Kumar has already posted. To add to what Prashant has written: Sun is 2nd lord and the 2nd house may indicate the throat. The 2nd house is occupied by Jupiter and this may indicate the unchecked accumalation in the throat (tumor). Perhaps as 6th lord Jupiter can indeed indicate this issue. Though, I would not have predicted it because Jupiter is the benefic 9th lord. Saturn's aspect on the 2nd house is more clearly malefic. If we look at your chart from the Sun Lagna, the afflicition of 2nd house by 6th lord is repeated. And here again the 6th lord (Venus this time) s/b mostly a benefic due to also being Lagnesh. And,again, a second affliction from a clearly malefic planet (Mars as 7th/12th lord) is there as well. Also from the Sun lagna, the affliction of 2nd lord is repeated. So from all three lagnas, the 2nd house and 2nd lord are afflicted. Though, some 2nd house indications must be very good for you as well due to the mixed lordship of Jupiter as seen from the Ascendant & Moon lagnas, and the mixed lordship of Venus as seen from the Sun lagna. At any rate, I think it may be safe to say that in addition to Taurus, 2nd house & 2nd lord are the indicators of the throat tumor you went through. The ureteric stones would be related to Scorpio, 8th house & 8th lord. Therefor, what Prashant said about the Taurus/Scorpio axis makes a great deal of sense to me. And in your chart there is a great deal of confluence for these issues -- 2nd lord is in Taurus in mutual aspect with 8th lord in Scorpio and the 2/8 axis is afflicted from all 3 lagnas. A Kapha pacifying diet is most likely what an Ayurvedic physician would recommend. All three lagnas are in Kapha signs (Cancer & Taurus) and from each lagna a strongly Kapha planet (Jupiter & Venus) is placed in the 2nd house. By the way, my teacher of Ayurveda would surely recommend daily gargling with triphala water. I stress again that I am a beginner and by no means a qualified astrologer or an Ayurvedic phyisician so please take the comments with a grain of salt. Take it easy, Sean , "P.R.K. Guest guest
Dear Charles, My first chance to get back to you. Thanks for reading! "Doomed"? Definitely not. But as a big believer in fate and destiny, I feel that people are co-creators with Divine Intelligence for whatever karma they plan to work out in their lifetime. For someone with MS, they've probably decided to work on a large chunk of it. But those like you who view their illness as a GIFT and not as pointless suffering or terrible punishment seem to improve their condition the most. The worst thing about having a major illness is that sense of no longer being in control of one's life. But there's still free will at our command to set new causes in motion and plant the seeds of health, whether for the benefit of this life-time or the next. Nothing is lost. I think there are numerous indicates in your chart about "not feeling exactly well" from perhaps the very beginning. Your first dasha was Rahu, which I didn't get to in the report. Rahu can be a stressful influence and you have it in aspect to your Saturn representing the nerves. Ketu can indicate inflammations and you have it aspecting your Aries planets. The interesting thing about Ketu is that it represents natural healing methods. Cleanses, herbs, massage, meditation and acupuncture. I'd like to see more MS people receive acupuncture because this mode of treatment acts directly to unlock nerve blockages. The problem is that sometimes standard medicine will not see these things as helpful. Then the person, if lucky, must discover them on their own, and I somehow feel that you will help get the word out. You have been blessed by the grace of Jupiter in your ascendant, and I feel that's why you have been able to recover to this extent. And everyone has a Jupiter somewhere trying to help out. And yes, the Mercury dasha is a period where you would not want to discontinue doing the beneficial things you have to improve your situation. Ketu in the 9H can indicate your differences of viewpoint with your father, or other differences. But the spiritual side of Ketu is brought out because of the good lordship from Jupiter as 9L in the 1H. That's one of the best planetary lordships in all of astrology. Your Saturn is well placed in Aquarius (though 'afflicted' by Rahu) and Saturn can be very spiritual in down to earth practical ways. Saturn is about 'doing something about it'. Saturn in Aquarius in the 11H is also humanitarian, and I feel there are indications in your chart that you will touch the lives of many people. You could work with groups or you start an organization, putting others to work so you don't build stress into your life. Or you could just share when the feeling moves you like on this newsgroups. There's a lot more to come for you. Guest guest
Dear PRK, I just saw tonight that Sean did an excellent free reading for you and so I'm not going to go ahead and try to duplicate his efforts with a report emphasizing some of the same essential points. Don't be disappointed. Just put some of his suggestions to good use and your condition will improve. Nevertheless, I do have a few comments. If it were me I'd make sure that I had an adequate intake of fluids every day and even carry around a bottle of filtered water at all times. Cancer lagnas can greatly benefit from such simple measures. You need to live in an harmonious job location and make sure your system isn't too toxic or acid. Cancer is an acid condition and your kidneys may be repeatedly trying to process substances it can't handle. Do what you can to balance out the PH in the blood and body through liquids, diet and nutrition. Cancer is not just a matter of fate or genetics; I believe it can be helped with life-style choices as well. Strengthening measures for your Moon--pearl, mantras, colors or yagnas--are recommended, because in your D6 divisional health chart the Moon is debilitated in Scorpio and indicates the impact of emotional turbulence on the body. However, the basic lordship of the 1L in 1H is excellent and supports the recuperative abilities of the body. Strengthening and balancing measures for Mars would also be helpful to temper impatience and conflicts with others. I'm sure you know what they are. Saturn as 8L of surgery aspecting the 2H of the throat area shows the problems there and the operations. Jupiter, tumors, as 6L of ill-health is located in the 2H of the throat. Venus representing the glandular function in the throat is placed in the 12H of weaknesses and also weak by being in the very early degree of Gemini. Venus is also the planet of happiness and so is the 4H where Rahu afflicts the cusp of the 4th. So the unhappiness, contentment factor is something to manage. Your spiritual practices should help a great deal in this regard. Your Venus-Rahu period showed your domestic unhappiness and stress because of a difficult relocation. Venus-Jupiter can indicate possible health problems because of excesses or philosophical differences with others. But these can be managed too. Saturn in Scorpio can indicate colon toxicity or your system may be reabsorbing toxins. Some doctors think having colonics have no value, but if it were me I'd make sure my intestinal area and colon were periodically cleaned out, especially until your overall health is fully stabilized. There are also herbal cleanses that are good for the colon and bowel. I'm talking about more than whether you might happen to be constipated or not. Toxins can result from environmental factors, including in the home. Interesting that toxic Rahu is in the 4H of the home environment. So you might want to start there and dump any solvents or whatever if they happen to be around, or consider past exposure. There are also pesticides in foods and chemical exposure at work. It might be a good idea to find out if you are having any toxic or allergic responses to them, if you haven't already. What I'm suggesting are methods used in integrative or holistic medicine to support the overall health of the body, and the body's immune functions, rather than just attack the symptoms through surgery when they manifest. Since I'm not of the standard medical model--though I respect its use in crisis intervention--I imagine you will most likely think these recommendations are naïve or ridiculous. That's okay, and everyone must make up his mind for himself, one hopes after looking into them further. I hope you do, because you have the chart of a fine surgeon: 3L of the hands in the 10H of the profession, and Mercury of the hands with magical Ketu. You probably pray before you operate and ask for guidance. That's excellent all the way around. I hole this suffices and I wish you the best of health and success in the coming years and months.
