Placement of sun in kumbha (7th from lagna - in its enemy sign) will not hamper marital issues (as being lagna lord - aspecting lagna from 7th house will always safeguard marital issues and ego related problems). For any lagna, 7th is always an enemy sign and the placement of LL in 7th house is never considered weak (though in enemy sign).

 

On the contrary, moon being 12th lord will always afflict and will not cause gajkesari yoga etc.

I do not remember quoting any western astrology in my note. I am understanding the possible difficulties for leo natives, for different combinations / placements.
