For Leo ascendant, placement of sun in its enemies like Saturn and Venus and any sort of weakness of

Dear Jyotish ji,

 

I understand the link between ego and sun and Leo from the western

astrological perspective but I am not so sure if Surya has been

associated with Ghamanda, pride, arrogance etc in jyotish framework.

Rajasic planets in general are associated with pride and ego etc,

perhaps but why Simha and Sun?

 

Please tell us more from the Jyotish perspective about this matter.

one's dependency on other fellow for taking a final decision in the matter

as well as

dominance on other's individuality(lagna of the spouse)-

sun being a kingly and natural malefic planet.

I agree with the fundamentals, but there is an exception to it. Sun being lagnesh, will not harm 7th house - for leo lagna (on the contrary, it will protect it). I have observed it very closely for this conclusion (yes, there may be other afflictions for damage to marital life).

Further to the note..Sun is not malefic for leo lagna native. Instead of having seperative effects for leo lagna, it (being LL in 7th H) provides attachment to spouse

are of Kshatriya Varna as per Jyotish.

 

My remark was about "weak Mars"

and bad relative disposition of planets with reference

Natural malefics are:

Saturn

Mars

afflicted moon and mercury

 

 

Sun is krura and not malefic.

I have seen virgo lagna horoscopes where jupiter was not strong and

saturn was in meena. Not only individuals had timely marriages but

very good and fruitful married life. Spouses were from good families,

educated and often rich.

 

But you have the prerogative of following your own perceptions :-)
