Guest guest Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 Dear Renuji: In the horoscope of Sanath Jayasuriya, you will find that the debilitation of his ascendant lord Saturn is cancelled due to the following factors: 1) Mars - the planet which is the lord of the sign in which Saturn is debilitated, is in 10th house from the lagna (kendra to the lagna). 2) Sun - the planet which gets exalted in the sign in which Saturn is debilitated, is in 7th house from natal Moon. (kendra to Moon). 3) The lord of the sign in which Saturn is exalted (Venus) is in 4th house from Lagna (kendra to the lagna). So, all the 3 conditions that are required to be satisfied for cancellation of debilitation are satisfied in this horoscope. It should be noted that any one of these would have been sufficient for cancellation of debilitation. As all the 3 factors are satisfied, it renders the lagna lord's debilitation null! What is more, there is another tradition by which if the lords of the signs in which the planet is exalted and debilitated are conjunct or in aspect to each other, there will be cancellation of debilitation. This condition is also satisfied here. Mars - the lord of the sign in which Saturn is debilitated aspects Venus - the lord of the sign in which Saturn is exalted. It is significant that the native is currently undergoing Rahu dasa Venus Bhukti. Venus is one of the planets contributing to the cancellation of debilitation of the lagna lord. Venus in 4th house in own sign causes Maalavya Yoga - one of the pancha Mahaa purusha yogaas. Mars in 10th house in its own sign gives rise to Ruchaka yoga - another pancha maha purusha yoga. If this planet is in the 6th house in retrogression will there be a Vipreet Raja yoga for Taurus Lagna? I had read somewhere that yogakaraka Saturn in a Dusta Sthan in debilitation leads to VRY. I shall be grateful if u could give your views on this.
