Vacha (Acorus Calamus) as treatment for coma patients in ayurveda ?

Namaste,

I am new to the group, hope someone can advise.

Is there any treatment for coma patients in ayurveda.

The patient was involved in an accident, sustained laceration on liver

and almost lost one kidney, suffered a heart attack afterwards and had

been in a coma - has shown some improvement is awake, but has no motor

function, is on iv feeds.(Doctors say brain function is 40% SLOW but

this has improved by 30%).

Any suggestions?? What are your thoughts on Vacha (Acorus Calamus)?
