Guest guest
Rosetta, was the astrolger you saw, a western one? He/she might not have studied the 9 planets and related gems governed by planets under the Jyotish (Vedic) Astrological system. Be aware there are many newbie astrologers sprouting all over the place and advertising their skills, etc, especially if you live in a western country. If you are able to, its best to find a Jyotish who is trained under one of the Classical Lineages from India. There are actually many friends in this group who are practicing, professional Jyotishis (especially Mr. Alan Scherr whose details you can find under the Distributor Network at: www..com although he doesn't advertise the fact that he's an expert. Drop him some lines to enquire about a proper consultation if you wish. Meanwhile, its indeed very strange that a "Vedic Astrologer" actually told you to stay away from blue sapphire and all other blue stones even though there are malefic Shani influences in your chart. Absolutely do not agree with this, unless there are other opposing or conflicting factors in the chart that warrants such advice to avoid blue sapphire. Shani's precious gem is blue sapphire. One of Shani's uparatna (semi- precious stone) is amethyst. When undergoing Shani Dosha, any malefic Shani movements in the horoscope or Saturn Return, blue sapphire is mostly recommended. For those not able to afford high grade, flawless blue sapphire, the next best thing is the economical amethyst of good grade and in higher carats that work just as well. Example: instead of using a 3 carat blue sapphire, a 9 to 11 carat flawless amethyst can be used as substitute. I can't recall the exact carats of uparatnas that should be used but Mrs Neeta at Rudra Centre will be able to advice you. If you wish, pls contact her directly at: rudracentre (AT) hotmail (DOT) com Alternatively, why not consider using 3 beads of 7 mukhi rudraksha or 2 beads 7 mukhi collector grade sizes with stronger electromagnetic properties? Seven mukh rudraksh is governed by Shani and its ruling deity is Goddess Lakshmi. If you are able to get a 14 mukhi rudraksha, so much the better. This bead is also governed by Shani and is known to be very powerful. Only one bead of 14 mukh is required. You don't need to wear it in pairs or in threes, unless you personally feel a strong desire to. Note: Rudraksh have no side effects whatsoever, when worn for deflecting malevolent planetary movements through any chart, at any given time. This has been time proven, trialled and tested over 5000 years. , "rosaroja24" <rosaroja24 wrote: > > I recently met with a vedic astrologer who told me that (due to > malefic Shani) I should not only avoid wearing blue sapphire and blue > topaz, but also avoid wearing any blue stone and also avoid amethyst > as well.
