Q: There are some astrologers who say that gemstones should be of at

least so many rattis ie for coral at least 6 rattis, yellow sapphire at

least 3 rattis and ruby at least 1 carat etc.

A: Dear ,

These kind of astrologers mostly care nothing about quality. Shastra

says QUALITY is important, not size. This is all concoction. For

example, a poor person goes to astrologer who tells the client he must

wear diamond of 6 carats... Now in Jyotish quality such a diamond would

cost about $60,000. = how many rupies is that? So it is nonsense.

Mostly people are wearing rubbish bad luck stones of the recommended

size. It is useless and harmful. Quality is everything, and size

depends on “budget” limitation.

Hope this helps

Richard

Hi ALL, I don't think black onyx is useful as an astrological gem... it is best used to carve deities, specially Shiva Linga. Y/s, R-

I'm black too! I don't think I'm bad luck! LOL
