Guest guest
sometimes it is difficult to sympatizae with the struggles of other human-beings unless we are experiencing the struggle ourselves..we typically dont apprecaitte life and unitl we loose life.. today one of our beloved sisters ,wrote AMMAS sun an e-mail saying that she loved him because he sent her son who is on death row a letter.. what she is saying in essence is that SHE is greatful that someone cares.it doesnt have to be this child ,it could be anyone..ITS ALL AMMAs... the reason this child wrote the letter is ofcourse because of AMMAs LOVE ,but also because temba sympathizes with her as well as her sons pain...this heart opened up and he acted.its real simple the result is on AMMA,but this small act of love may spark even greater things.."small acts with great love",that is the great formula as perscribed by MOTHER TERESA... AMMA says that a true spiritual aspirant puts himself in the other persons shoes..AMMA has placed HERSELF in all of our shoes which is why SHE took on a body..another way to term this is compassion... aikya param made a small act with great love ,when she rached out to us in hopes that we would respond to a need that is in need.. if you look deeper,it wasnt aikya who reached out to you,but it was AMMA...this child believes this with all of his heart...this is this childs perfect faith..AMMA says to never hesitate to to do good.. if AMMA made an announcement in the temple for everyone to write one letter per week to someone in need then we would all write very quickly..there is no difference in HER speaking through your very own heart...circle of love inside did not start with the approval of AMMAs organization.it started with the APPROVAL OF AMMAS HEART... circle of love inside is not only a letter writing seva ,but also a beautiful way to stretch your heart and challenge your fears...when you write a letter to someone ,you are in fact writing to AMMA ....this is this childs perfect faith...we have strecthed our hearts through HER GRACE,this child saw it with his own eyes... in the name of MATA-AMRITANANDA-MAYI and all SHE has done for us,lets stretch our hearts again....."EXPANSIVENESS IS GOD"-AMMA.... Guest guest
Thanks, Themba. Amma works through us. She can't be everywhere in the same way we are wherever we are, hopefully sharing someof the love we have received from her. I was just explaining that I give letter writers 3 or 4 names to choose from, to choose the person to whom they will write. I do that because I know amma is guiding the whole process and the "choice" offered by me just lets Amma make HER choice, guiding the letter writer and recipient to make a connection. Later the letter writers will later email me "As soon as I saw ___'s name, I knew he was the one!" That's just amma whispering in their hearts, guiding them to her child who happens to live in prison right now, her child whose heart she wants to touch. Guest guest
Hi Stacy, I too have recently begun writing to some new friends thru Circle of Love, and Circle of Love Inside. I have to say that I really enjoy it. I think it brings me more happiness than I give thru letter writing. It has renewed in me a desire to write and send cards to all of the people I know who are in hospitals and are living in nursing homes...And I do it in Amma's name. But my favorite seva is Circle of Love Inside. I have only been writing to my friend inside for a month or so, but we have already established a good relationship. As soon as I got the list of names to write to, I saw my friend's name and just knew he was the one. We had to overcome some obstacles, as my friend inside does not read or write, but I knew with Amma's help we could work it out. Thankfully Amma sent an angel to read my letters and to write back for my friend. Hopefully a long friendship has begun for us. I am so happy to hear that you are writing too! In Amma's Service, mare PS- I enjoyed your webpage! On Tue, 4 Jul 2006 10:31:09 -0700 (PDT) Stacy Moskus <stacysgarage > writes: > Temba, > Your words are touching!
