Encouraged by Sri Arjun Panditji's recent post I ask all fellow

astrologers on this forum a simple question:

In a reading situation (matters not what format) do we use intuition

or or yogic powers? Please answer as truthfully as you can.

If you cannot or would rather not share truth, please just be silent

and allow the data to remain clean!

I will share my story honestly.

I have been into astrology and divination for a long time and for a

very long time I had major problems coming to terms with anything

that was not logic based to some extent in astrology. I looked for

logic and often found it. Too often, too long!

Untill I read about the correct predictions and readings using wrong

data. I personally experienced those situations and it shook my faith

in astrology or at least the logical part of it.

Then Charles, who I wrote about in some articles through a simple

analogy cleared it for me:

Divination, is a bird with two wings: Logic and Intuition. If the

bird loses either, it can just go round and round in circles and

never take off and fly, as it is supposed to!

Thanks Charles Bowlings!

Dear Rohini Ji,

A million people try to become astrologers each year, but only very few become one. Intuition plays a major part here.

All good astrologers have that intuitive knack and abilities from birth. They already have different ways of observing the world and its inhabitants even before they aquire any formal knowledge of planets.

Without intuition, the knowledge is useless. On the other hand, over-logic kills the intuition. This has been seen in cases were mercury is overactive. Such astrology enthusiasts have all the knowledge but are unable to put it all to a conclusive prediction.

Intuition is not limited to astrology only. Even doctors, engineers, scientists do work on their intuitions. A very famous example is of Friedrich Kekule who had visualised the chemical structure of Benzene when he dreamed of a snake forming a ring by taking its own tail in its mouth.

Intuition is just a simple connection to the omnipresent www of knowedge which exists in universe and keeps our sub-conscious connected to each other.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Beautiful post, Ashutoshji -- and also Watson or Crick or both who

visualized the DNA and then proved it also intuited the snake like

entwined DNA strands they tell us and the chair and boat conformation

of benzene too was kind of intuitive and many many other such 'AHA!'

instances in other parts of science! But just so some imaginative

teenager with a lot of intuition gets overexcited -- after that

intuitive jump, kid, comes a long period of trying to prove it and

show it in the material world before they believe you or in you and

give you the Nobel prize!

You can always fall back on your imagination and write scripts for

films and get rich and famous faster and probably many times over

compared to what you will be as a scientist ;-)

Your take on intuition sounds sensible. It could also be a connection

to the knowledge painstakingly and ploddingly gathered over many many

lifetimes, until it is finally ready to be delivered in a

supraphysical package, through physical reality of brain and mind and

faculties, but coming from the Eternal Reality that we must always

remember -- because nothing goes to waste, even the littlest effort

made earnestly -- like a little child wanting and trying to help his

father, even though ineffectively. It is about intent and not always

about physical effort. I always thought that is what it was, but I

could be wrong.
