Guest guest
Hello List Many of you know me and what I can, how I think, how I write, etc. Can anyone think of ways that I can handle (given my bipolar and meds situation) that I can make money? Internet information....writing and teaching....via the internet, via subscription, something along those lines would be good. Does anyone know any sites which make this instant and easy. Any other ideas? I am worth something, and need to be made use of. Sales of software has dipped so low as to cause me to consider other things. I know I have value as a person...knowledge and abilities, yet I¹m not what I used to be either. I cannot deny that I struggle in various ways. Once you have been through what I¹ve gone through, and are on meds like Lithium and others, it¹s hard to for example have tons of focus for programming, or have the energy required to face people directly or even on the phone. Reading charts is hard, causes mental collapse because it takes too much concentration and brings up empathy issues which are crippling to me. I¹m writing because the world has changed so much with the internet, which has so many opportunities on it. I don¹t know them all. Thought I¹d reach out and ask. So considering that I have knowledge to share, what venues should I be using? My need is super immediate. Guest guest
Hey, Das Based on what we know about you on the list, you should consider writing a game software about a Celtic warrior who travels the known world at the time in search of the holy grail. Along the way, the warrior encounters many challenges in terms of enemies from foreign lands, monsters, demons, witches, and black magicians. It could be a best seller. Guest guest
Namaskaar Sri Das Easy money is difficult even on the internet. I have made successful e-commerce campaigns but they required patience and continual efforts in promoting the website. A few of ideas that you can explore: 1. Consider selling the rights of Goravani Software to a large Information Technology company, who can mass market it. In the transfer of rights contract, take a lump sum fee and also try to take a percentage of sales. Moreover, become their consultant for X number of years till the time their team can understand subtleties of Vedic Astrology. This has potential to support you for the rest of your life. You will have to market yourself correctly or find an agent to do so. 2. Tie up with Universities in US who offer degree programs in Astrology. Go for distance teaching if you cannot travel to them. Take retainership. 3. Start trading in things that heal - Be it gemstones, reiki books, incense, ............ I do not know the market conditions in the place you live. Try to make an assessment of the same. 4. Market your art through art galleries in India, US and Europe. I have good taste in art but have no marketing skills in the same. I am sure someone here in the group would be able to help you with the same. Your focus should be to reduce your direct workload and yet sustain yourself. All the best. Do not be dejected. If one door is closed, the lord opens thousand more. Thanks and Regards Bharat On 6/28/06, Das Goravani <das (AT) goravani (DOT) com> wrote: > > > Hello List > > Many of you know me and what I can, how I think, how I write, etc. > > Can anyone think of ways that I can handle (given my bipolar and meds > situation) that I can make money? > > Internet information....writing and teaching....via the internet, via > subscription, something along those lines would be good. Guest guest
.... Or how about an autobiographical work. From what I know about you, you've had some incredible adventures that people would eagerly want to read about. You could weave your life story around the context of jyotish understanding - but not so much astrology as to confuse the average reader. And of course you could bundle it with your demo CD. James Braha wrote an autobiography that seems to be doing well.
