Guest guest Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 I'm booked for the Boston retreat and Devi Bhava, but for the first time in many years, cannot seem to find a ride to/from Boston, coming from NYC, and it looks like the program site is some 40 miles from Boston and Providence transit hubs. I hope I can find transportation....if not from NYC then at least from the train/bus stops. Any ideas? This is our third year traveling to see Amma. I cannot wait! Because of my husband's condition, (C5/6 quadriplegia) I cannot get away for the retreats (yet...but still trying to figure out a way...) or Devi Bhava. I'm sure there will be plenty of "special needs" people from the Boston satsang (and supporting groups) to help with getting him comfortable. >From what I remember of the program last year, the convention center hall was large enough to hold everyone who came for the puja. It is a cement floor, with some valiant efforts to cover with carpeting, but nevertheless it might be worth bringing a little extra padding if you will be yourself sitting on the floor.
