Guest guest
from my daughter, Sudha: During the second night of the LA retreat a little girl asked Amma if She would dance. Amma said yes, She would at the end of darshan. So, indeed, after darshan She went up on the stage and danced. She instructed everyone in the hall to dance with Her and imagine that every cell was dancing in Bliss, which they did. Then afterwards She told everyone to sit and meditate for some time. Sudha says that the atmosphere felt incredibly purified and powerful. Afterwards, she and her friend felt extremely energized even though they had been working since early morning and it was the middle of the wee hours. They (aged 16) ran, leaped and danced in the hotel halls (quietly, I assume), went to get ice cream and tried to go swimming but the pool was, of course, closed:>) Ôm Amriteswaryai Namah
Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, The night of Amma's dancwe, I had accidentally fallen aslepp in the hotel room. A roommate's words awake me, as she said she was in a hurrym siunce the darshan hall would soon close at just 12:30AM! I rushed downstairs with my token, in time for darshan. I had wanted to see Amma dance for some time, & was so glad for this experience. Amma asked us to sit & meditate for just 2 minutes afterwards, but meditating much longer would've been wonderful, since it was so powerful. On the morning of Devi Bhava I went to the hotel room to sleep around 7AM, since I had a long frive the next day. Since the hall had already closed, I sort of prayed & hoped I would awake in time to catch one last glimpse of Amma entering the elevator. Actually, i sat outside the hotel room & sobbed in the hall, since I wanted to see Amma again. At exactly 10:15AM, I awoke, & went downstairs. Amazingly, the darshan hall was open, & the last tokens were being received! By Amma's Grace, I was abale to kneel in front of Her & gaze as She showered petals on the end of the circle of devotees. After just 3 hours of sleep, I departed LA at 3PM & drove to Berkely, then south to Boulder Creek, (close to 500 miles?), where I arrived after midnight. I did this with alertness & energy, even though I usually need 8 hours of sleep!
