gopal_deo_sharma 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2006 Will Bharat (India) ever become a hindu theoratic nation? RSS (Rashtriya Sevak Sangh), BHP (Bharatiya Hindu Parishad) and many other big or small hindu activist groups has the main objective to make India into a theoratic country. Since, independence all of this groups has done nothing in order to accompolish this except for promoting mindless violence and meaningless fanatic speeches by their leders in and around rural areas in north India. Does any hindu still wants the country to be governed by such a constitution which will promote and strengthen hinduism? Will such a goverment appear soon in the near future? Can anyone tell me something about this activist groups and what have they done in this matter?
Guest guest Report post Posted June 28, 2006 because i have reasons for yes and no....... yes, because a true system of hinduism will the maleable enough to change to fit the beliefs of individuals in all different parts of india. I believe that all of south asia should be united only in economic welfare, but laws should be left to the individual areas, this being the districts and over seen by the states. There should be no national laws unless by chance, all the states/areas of india naturally come up with the same law. We should not bend to the will of the western world at large and create laws for political correctness in the modern world. Let the individuals who live where they live decide the laws they believe in. A true tolernat Hindu theocracy may develop this idea...... or it may not, the govt may try to formulate one idea of "hinduism" and spread that as the neccessary belief within the hindu community, trying to unite a massive group under one banner. but this would alter the framework of hindu thought and would definately be for the worse.
