Sri Sri Jagannathai Namo:

Ratha Yatra is celebrated in many places in the world. I live in Bangladesh and it is celebrated here too. It is a great festival and it was celebrated here with high respect.

Dates for Ratha Yatra in Bangladesh:

June 27 : Ratha Yatra

July 05 : Opposite Ratha Yatra

I live in Dhaka of Bangladesh. Over here the ISKCON celebrated it with high respect. There was three big Raths and among them two was made this year and one was there from before. Sri Jagannathdev, Sri SubadraMata and BalaramaDev were placed on indivitual three Raths. There was a small Rath at the back of all three where all JagannathDev, SubadraDev and BalaramDev were going. It was a great festival. Peoples have crowded to pull the rope of the Rath. Chanting went on through out the crowd. There was also discussions for making flower rain by Helicopter, but the government did not give the permission for it.

Last of all it is a great festival and I celebrated this festival today. I pulled the rope of JagannathDev's Rath and BalaramaDev's Rath and the small Rath. It was a very nice period and I am very happy that I could take place in this Ratha Yatra. And if Sri Krishna bless me, I hope I can also visit the Ratha Yatra in Jagannath Puri.

Please, here discuss about the Ratha Yatra which took place in your country and how did you celebrate it.:deal:

Thank-you:)

By the way, is the Radha-Krishna temple on Soho Street your local temple, chandradas? Or is it the Krishna temple at Bhaktivedanta Manor?

Lord Jagannath's rath yatra is celebrated all around the world....I am extremely glad to know this.

I stay in Puri "Shree Khetra Dham" so I guess I am lucky to see Lord make his yatra with Sri Balvadra and Maa Subhadra to there aunt's house every year.

This year's rath yatra was attended by a 9,00,000 devotees of lord Jagannath more than any of the previous rath yatras...it was truly a divine oppurtunity to be there.....

The Pandas of the temple escorting lord Balvadra, Subhdara and Jagannath to their chariots....the puri naresh performing the ceremonial rituals by sweepin the raths....thousands of bhakts pulling the raths....etc were all showing that as much kalikaal is growing people are turning towards Lord Jagannath for redemption and for his service

Pls visit http://www.Jagannathtemplepuri.com for pictures of this years Rath Yatra
