high & Low birth ..a question

HI

It is said that good are rewarded with a good(high) birth , and bad(papi) are punished with a low birth in the next life after completing there bhoga in the afterlife.

But often it is seen that it is the (rich) highborn which indulge in much selfishness & cruilty causing pain and suffering to the poor & weak.

How does one reconcile the fact that if a soul had been good in the previous life thus being born in a rich family in this life ends up being so bad now.

if selfishness & cruilty was there in them from before(previous life) why did they get a high birth(rich family) in this life

Note: of cource i am equating high birth with birth in rich family in this case and not every body will agree to that.

Some people do charity, but with hidden motive in mind- greed for

fame, publicity. Some others do powerful Yogic Sadhna, but they

cant(or dont) control their ego. So for the Good energy they created

they have to get Good results, so they are born in Good family. But

their mind is still low, so they commit evil acts.

 

In Durga Saptshti, Durga says "With those I am happy, I give them

Highest Buddhi. With those I am angry, I take away their Buddhi".

 

Buddhi here is the high intelligence that moves you closer to God, not

away from him.

Without Buddhi, you are dead, as there is nobody to guide you on right

path. You cant fool the Divine Mother- as rich people do when they

give millions to charity- and get their picture in all the papers.

These rich people are like Devtaas- they are here to get results of

their Karma. So unless they create good Karma, they will be born in

poor family next time.

 

So the truly lucky people are those born in religious familes, who get

knowledge of spirituality early on.

 

The Rich and Poor are just pawns in Natures game, and she plays with

them as she likes. They are very happy one moment, and she crushes

them like a bug the next. But this is their fate till they wake up.
