Muhurta: Tara Bala/Chandra Bala/Panchapakshi/Hora: what is ideal

Dear PVR-ji and other respected gurus:

 

There is a plethora of approaches to finding out the right time to

pursue some task.

For example:

Sri BV Raman's methods,

pancha-pakshi analysis,

sarvartha-siddhi chart,

using the hora lords

and, panchanga analysis.

 

I understand that each of these methods is stong in itself, however

in practice I would like some ideas from all the senior gurus on how

they go about finding a good time to commence some activity.

 

For example: I want to start writing an application for a job.

 

Should I consider the hora of my 10th lord to do this ?

 

In practice, how do most astrologers go about recommending a suitable

muhurtham.
