Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya: A friend of mine is a devotee of Amma and Sri Ramakrishna. During the recent San Ramon tour she brought a picture of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa up to Amma during her San Ramon Darshan. Amma gleefully kissed the picture again and again and laughed. Here is a quote I found surfing. "The mind can disentangle itself from worldliness if, through Her grace, She makes it turn toward Herself. Only then does it become devoted to the Lotus Feet of the Divine Mother." - Sri Ramakrishna An insightful reading of Kali and Her Leela is found by clickinghere. Guest guest
Namah Shivayah Chitanand, Thank you for this insightful link. I had a great time reading this, as I have been drawn to the writings of Ramakrishna as of late. Guest guest
This story and lots of other wonderful ones can all be found in the spiritual classic, "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna." It's one of my favorite books. I love reading about the lives of various masters. Speaking of... am just nearing the end of Swami Ramakrishnananda's new book, "The Blessed Life." It's very good. Just as good as the other two. Swamini Krishnamritaprana also told me last week that she is working on a second book. I do wish Swami Purnamritananda would write a book. It's so good to hear the stories and experiences of those closest to Amma. love, Prajna Ananthasree <ananthasree (AT) mac (DOT) com> wrote: Namah Shivayah Chitanand, Thank you for this insightful link.
