Dear All,

The next big occassion for us, now that Father's Day has passed, is Guru

Purnima.

Inorder to set the tone for this beautiful day honoring all our Gurus,

here are two suggestions that were given to and blessed by our Swamiji.

The suggestions are simple - sadhana and seva.

The sadhana involves a group sankalpa of doing 108 times Guru Gita as a

group ('gurup' [:D] ) starting Monday Jun 19th and ending July 10th

- which is Guru Purnima.

108 repetitions as a group, and of course please send me how many you

have done - you can send me the consolidated total number of repetitions

you have done upto that day. Every single repetition is valuable and no

number is too small - so please start chanting the Guru Gita (It is in

the book "The Guru and the Goddess" ) .

Can we make it? Can we offer our love to our Gurus and show them our

respect by doing this Guru Gita? I pray that we will make it happen.

Next the seva - you dont need to be at the Mandir to do seva to the

Gurus. If you have access to email , and have read a few of the Mandir

publications, then you can help with this seva. If you are interested in

helping ,please write to me directly (chandimaakijai

<chandimaakijai > - chandimaakijai at ). We

needs LOTS of volunteers - the more the merrier. So your help is greatly

appreciated, and shouldnt take you more than a few minutes each day.

THANK YOU in advance for your seva.

Thank you to all for your contributions to our group card, and hope we

will make our Guru Purnima a fitting offering for all our Gurus.
