Dear RR,

good u said on the standard PHONETIC symbols that come in dictionaries or any language learner.

anyone may to it not TAMILS like the mark on elephant forehead litigation in privy council else why do TAMILS still sue `Z' for in English to suggest their third LLA they have 3 la, la and probably LLA use din say DMK, AIMDMk party names like k stands for KALAGAM [party TAMILS in English write it as KAZAGAM. their r inter party squabble or the way LTTE in Sri Lankka decimates opposition even from their own Tamils is also similar though they don't blend well with others on Language they UNITE but these difference that they are holier than thou and what right you have to say, TALK on any issues is common as each feels he has the purest version of anything.

so is the COCHARA other day. he never read a single astrological book in English to know or for that matter so many articles here to know GOCARA the way It is written, understood.

AGAIN I HAVE NO BIAS IT IS JUST AN obesrvation as we see in day to day life I hope Iam understood propelry.

it is sad even though you attempt to remain unbiased ...still your

message conveys...so much...you are trying to bring in the matter

i would like to know .whether you are south indian or north indian..

your name suggests must be from karnataka or andhrapradesh...

 

the tamil "L" has 5 different terminology usage and the correct

transliteration is "Kazagam"...you mean to say the national daily

HINDU has no brain when they use the words...ridiculous...

 

your suggestion of "kalagam" means small tension or in fight...again

qualifying when i say infight it refers to in the family ...

 

suggest you to go through the best paper in india...The Hindu to get

better views and information on all subjects so that these sort of

messages can be avoided. Because again you are revealing your

ignorance of total issue of srilanka and its tamil population

(though i prefer to call it as ceylon...as somebody numerology

expert has said)..it is the srilankan government which started all

of sudden this nonsense in 1980's and never made any serious attempt

to solve the crisis...in fact it was playing....now it is paying the

price for its deeds...you are taking just the matter as it is on the

surface without any serious understanding the depth of the same..and

commenting..not suiting your standing.....

dear readers,

this is just my observation nothing connected to

astrology. I have observed the so called champions of

Tamil language in tamil nadu, many of them pronounce

kazhagam as kalagam. Probably their tounge and the

vocal cords doesnt prononuce the phonetic expression

of "zh". But yet they claim to be the champions of

tamil language.

india also, people have started accepting themselves as indians

first and then only tamil, bengali or other locals.

 

if there is a particular letter or word which some are using rightly

or wrongly for decades, let us accept it as a reality and live with

it. humour is always taken in lighter vien in this modern world

where freedom of expression is respected in al democratic countries,

especially india.

 

long ago in a similar thread in this group, i mentioned how bengalis

use the word "ba" instead of "va" and also explained how a CEO made

a fun of himself when he asked the server to serve 'BADA" and the

server was too willing to serve the master a "BIG" but asked to know

what that BIG thing he really wants. of course, all are aware that

BADA means VADA (south indian dish mostly referred in Idli, Vada,

Dosa).

 

hence whatever shri prashant kumarji observed shall be taken in that

spirit and shall not be construed as an opinion against tamils.

thread...i was about to do it this morning...

rightly or wrongly for decades, let us accept it as a reality and

live with it. humour is always taken in lighter vien in this modern

world where freedom of expression is respected in al democratic

Perfect....i do agree with your view...i am here for the last 4

years and never went so much with one person especially on one

issue...but this time...since in my view the tolerance levels has

been crossed, i need to respond....you cannot write something

affecting sentiments of some people...when it has no relevance to

with due respect to your sentiments, i must inform that you

misunderstood in stating that i am finding fault with others. what

i wrote about "bada" was reproduction of what i wrote an year ago in

this same group when all other active members also wrote about idlis

and dosas. yes, i tried to convey positive observation of some

common language errors we all commit when prashantji's mail was

construed as an opinion against tamils. in that mail i requested

the members to see the observations of language in a positive note.

so how come you are saying that i am finding fault.

 

anyway this thread was closed and unless you wish to exhume it and

start a fresh thread again on it, it is better we all focus on

astrology as we are doing.

Dear Arjunji,

 

I must disagree! I think it was a hindu thread and was cremated!

Hence cannot be exhumed, for even the elements that remained after

the funeral fires died out have been offered to Ma Ganga and probably

by now have evaporated and rained on some other region/country etc --

as water tends to ;-)

i agree with you when you said that technically exhumed word is used

only for buried bodies and not cremated bodies. in journalism, this

word exhumed is oft used whenever a person wish to raise an old dead

issue.
