Guest guest
A reminder notice from this mother to her 18 year old son RIDING THE WAVE Yes, son, I know you probably wont read to the end of this because something more exciting will be calling you, but I would advise that you come back to it. The basic message is that for peace of mind you need to make time to MEDITATE daily. By training the mind to focus on an image for a fixed period of time you can develop the skill to be able to take charge of it. The difference between the horse stopping to graze on the roadside whenever he feels like it and the racehorse is discipline and training. Unless you find some method of managing your mind you will not be able to concentrate on your studies. It is too easily distracted and needs to be trained to patiently focus on the work to be done. You have many examples in your life of how distracted your mind is. Your impatience to get on to the next thing is destroying all of your good intentions. It is causing you to forget your prioities and when the deadlines come the panic sets in which creates frustration for yourself and those around you. You are very well intentioned so people trust you, but you get distracted and forget, the panic sets in, you get frustrated and angry because you have failed to live up to your ideals, then it spirals down into blame, disappointment, sadness which requires another distraction to escape the pain and so on it goes...... Your mind is wandering so much that it is limiting the use of your wisdom and intelligence. Your body will follow where the mind leads or you can let the body dictate to the mind. Either way you will be running around like a fool all over the place as without the wisdom of your intelligence there can be no emotional stability and no peace. Just like a surf board (body) on the water (mind) needs to be controlled and directed (intelligence) otherwise it will get out of control so also our minds need to be steadied. When the waters are calm it is easier to ride the board but when the swell comes unless you are well trained and have plenty of practise you will never experience the magic of being able to ride the wave. WE have 5 bodies Physical body which contains the elements of earth, fire, air, water and ether. All bodies are made of food and will become food Breathing body which keeps us alive bringing in the cool air and releasing the heat which builds up. It gives life to the food; body is food on fire. Mental body which manages all the thoughts and desires being fed to it by the body in the form of likes and dislikes, good and evil, attraction and revulsion. The mind has the reins that controls and coordinates the senses. The mental is attached to the suffering and pleasures of the body which has us saying "I like him and I don't like her or I want this and I don't want that"; and asking the questions if life is worth living, etc. Imagine how limited our world would be if it was managed by minds like ours, imagine the Sun deciding it didn't feel like shining.or the grass saying there is no point to its growing as it is only going to be cut down anyway. Wisdom body which is our safety net to protect us from our excesses, renews our body and inspires our mental level with ideas for decision making. It puts shape on us, heals our wounds, knows how to digest and redistribute our food. It is NATURE or the natural law under which all of creation is governed. Wisdom talks to the Divinity that knows the purpose for all it has created. Bliss Body Life is an orgasmic creation out of bliss. It is the universal creative force that holds all of us, It is the nameless, faceless and beyond the capacity of our minds to. At bliss level there is no opposites. Out of the bliss comes the wisdom which lets the grass grow and the skin to heal The need to take control of our mind is the greatest challenge we all have and it is essential that you take time for meditation if your are to know any peace of mind. When your mind is focused you are in your element and you know exactly what to do. The wisdom channel is open and you don't need to think about it. You have some experience of this with sport and you now need to develop the same skills for the rest of your life's activities. And yes I do love you and no I am not intent on making your life a misery and limiting what you can do. Love, Mam
