Dear sir,

Text book readings are always correct-

In predictive part - practical application - one gains by experieince - it is difficult to codify experience in exact sense. Every one have his own experience.

Natal charts are only to motivate the astrologer-

accurate predictions are the gut feelings of experienced astrologer with devine blessings.

Comming to the strength of planets - it is different from their benefic and malefic nature.

At any given time- no planet works in isolation- we get a package deal of all planets with a leadership of one / more planets - may be due to the D/B/A lordship or their positions in Transit (gochara).

Natal chart is nothing but transit at the time of birth. Interpolation of transits on natal chart with the help of D/B/A lords will help prediction.

A holistic approach is needed in predicitve part.

Example - of your Venus - it gets strong when it gains good strength in gochara - or it may not when it looses strength in transit.

Regarding Moon - a wanning moon in 6,8,12 is good -

comfortable in subordinate roles and so on?

dear sir,

 

thank you for your insights into astrological practice. i guess i

need a teacher or guru if i must progress further as an astrologer.

i have been reading books and articles, and studying charts of

people around me, and i have learned a few things. But now i have

reached a "plateau" of sorts, i am not moving up anymore.

 

your signature says that you are an astrology teacher and

counsellor. it would be nice if i could take classes from you. do

let me know the details.

Malefics are good in 6,8,12 bhavas

Wanning Moon is considered as malefic in traditional view
