Interesting Question [WAS: MINOR any genuine person Priya's marriage ]

This is a very interesting area indeed!

 

There are many marriages that take place in many countries without

muhurta nirnaya etc. Obviously not all of them break up! And I am

sure marriages done impeccably at the most carefully chosen muhurta

do not all survive the ravages of time!

 

Has any of the forum members tried to look into this matter?

 

Any illustrations of the efficacy of muhurtas like these often

expressed so emphatically, that were tested by anyone and can be

quoted to highlight their supremacy over the King of Muhurtas --

chosen by God and Nature, namely the muhurta of Birth?

 

Some may argue that in a variable number of cases the muhurta of

birth is chosen by the obstetrician who must go to his golf game, but

as they say, The LORD moves in mysterious ways!!!

dear friends

 

i was away for a week to amarnath pilgrimage and am back in delhi

yesterday and found hundreds of interesting threads on varied

subjects.

 

realistically speaking RR ji' observation is 100% true regarding

failure of marriages. however, in india most astrologers lie while

matching the horoscope because of an old adage (source unknown) that

you can tell even 1000 lies to get a girl married. even the elderly

old people who mediate and stand guarantee also lie with a view to

help a bad girl or bad boy get married soon so that he MAY become

good post marriage.

 

otherwise also, a muhurat is based on the charts of the couple.

however, these days most pandits are fixing general muhurats as

mentioned in panchang instead of fixing specific muhurats for the

individuals.

 

as mentioned in our previous threads, a horoscope is an audited

karmic balance sheet as on the date of birth and the fresh karmic

debits and credits post birth are not reckoned in the chart. if

more than double the size of hindu population does not believe in

horoscopes and yet they have progressed far better than india and

are continuously doling out loans, investments and jobs to india, it

is the karma theory that is at work.

 

in north india, most people have started following karma siddhanta

which is as simple as "give good to others, if you want good from

others"

 

hence even the astrologers have started taking shelter in the karmic

theory when unable to predict or find out reasons why things do not

happen the way they shall happen as per the chart.

Now to the very serious matter! I understand the sentiments behind

telling a few 'doctored facts' if not outright lies (Beti gati to

bahut achcha hai par kal icecream khiladi uskey bhai ney! Or "Aajkaal

harmonium sudharney waley kaarigar kahan miltey hain jee -- bechari

bina baajey kay kabhi Ma Saraswati ki Sangeet pooja nahin kar pai --

becharii! The BETI by the way is a Ph.D. in toxicogenomics! But tell

that to a bunch of ...). But when dealing with *such* persons at the

other end, aren't we throwing our Betis, have we not been throwing

our dear betis, pieces of our souls raised with so much love and

caring and sacrifice for years -- into a situation where statistics

do not really matter? It is like saying 0.001% marriages end up in

abuse, and only 0.0001% of those brides really get burnt alive?

 

If it is my one and only 'beti' would I not really care if it

represents an incidence rate of 60000/0.6 billion (half of Indian

population by gender, or 6000 daughters, respectively in the two

torture categories?). Even if the true incidence is one thousandths

of that (0.000001% please check my math!), still SIX beautiful

daughters are being sacrificed -- just because society has made sure

that they CANNOT continue SINGLE but SAFE and in some cases even stay

ALIVE and without third degree burns!

 

 

WHAT KIND OF LOGIC IS THIS, dear forum of wisemen and women?
