The world is the effect of which the Brahman (God) is the primal cause. Truly speaking, the effect is not different from the cause. The millions of living beings are like the branches, twigs and leaves, and the Brahman is the seed from which the tree has come in to being. He who is aware of this has understood the Vedas.
