Guest guest
I am, unfortunately, one of the unlucky ones that due to circumstance will not be able to see Amma this summer. I've come to accept that it's for a reason only known to Amma--a few days after I accepted this, I got two job interviews for this coming week. Perhaps it is Amma's way of telling me that financial responsibilities to my family is "more important" right now than a trip, and that I'd have not had these opportunities that She provided if I had gone to New Mexico. We shall see, eh? Either way, still a bit disappointed, but working through it. The first time I had accepted that I might not be going, I had Amma Darshan dreams 3 nights in a row. Not just Darshan, but just sitting with Her and talking, not about anything in particular; I think in the first one she was making these beautiful glass-bead bracelets. In all my dreams she spoke English. lol Not perfect English, but what one would expect from someone who it wasn't the main language for that didn't attend university to learn it more. I wonder if she was trying to give me Darshan, since I couldn't get one in person. I personally wouldn't mind if those dreams continued. hehe Still, if it is possible (no clue if it is), if someone who does attend can mention me to Amma, maybe get a bit of holy water for me or something, I'd greatly appreciate it...*grin* Not sure if it's possible, after all and I don't want to be greedy if someone who DOES attend needs it. But I'm loving the stories posted here of those who do attend! So keep them coming! And I'll do what I can and continue with meditation and japa =) Jai Maa! Jai Amma! Jai Kali! -Katie
