4th.June,2006 Sunday

In the morning Swami came out around 9 AM. He walked to the railing in the front and sat down on the sofa. Listening to the sevadal members singing bhajans, Swami got up after 45 minutes. There was a large turn out of old students as it was the medical camp day.

In the evening, Swami came out at 3.35 PM even before the sevadal started their 'Aao, Aao' bhajans ! During the bhajans Swami indicated to a member of the bhajan group who had a letter to come forward and hand it over. Swami then read the letter there itself and nodded in agreement. He got up from the sofa at 4.15pm explaining that rahukalam is at 4.30PM. aarathi and Swami returned to Trayee.

5th June 2006 ,Monday.

Swami came out at 9.20 AM in the morning and sat in the bhajans till 10AM. He then asked us if we had classes. On our saying 'yes', He asked that bhajan be concluded with aarathi. Prasadam-mangoes were distributed to all devotees.

In the evening Swami came out at 4.25 PM and listened to bhajans till 5.15PM. Swami after receiving aarathi, went back stage and walked till the AVC. Prasadam was distributed to all and Swami called some devotees for interview. He then retired.

6thJune 2006,Monday

Swami came out for darshan at 8.25 AM. He walked briskly to the railing and sat down. After listening to the bhajans for 45 minutes, Swami indicated that we had to go to classes and asked for aarathi to be taken. This morning also prasadam- sweet was distributed. Nowadays prasadam is being distributed almost every day. Sometimes in the morning and evening.

As we sat down for darshan, we noticed that there were two chairs placed for guests near the lift on the gents side. Later we came to know that these were kept for the Speaker of the AP assembly and the chief justice, who came and occupied it. Swami came at 4.30pm walking briskly and sat down. After a few bhajans, He asked for mikes to be arranged. Mr.T.G.Krishnamurthy was the speaker blessed by Bhagavan. He spoke about the need for divine grace in our lives and narrated a few stories in his characteristic style. He spoke for about half an hour.

After his speech, aarathi was offered to Bhagavan and prasadam was distributed to all in the hall. Bhagavan retired for the day.

7th June 2006,Wednesday

In the morning Swami came out for darshan at 8.50AM.

The bhajans in the morning lasted for about 40 minutes. We then offered aarathi to Bhagavan and Swami returned to Trayee.

In the evening, as soon as Swami arrived, He noticed three students sitting in the front with a card and called them to the stage. He looked into the card and asked them what it was all about. They said Swami we want to put up a quiz whenever it pleases you. Swami took the rose from the student who offered it and sat down on the sofa. Swami sat listening to bhajans for about 50 minutes, received aarathi and retired to Trayee.

8th June 2006, Thursday

In the morning Swami came out of Trayee for darshan at 8.40AM. He came walking and sat down in the front. After about 20 minutes, Swami indicated that aarathi be taken and He looked at the ladies bhajan singers and indicated by sign language 'I shall go and come back' and returned to Trayee. Mangoes were distributed to all.

Since Swami was leaving for Parthi we went into Trayee compound. At 10.15AM Swami came to the landing in the front. All students and VIPs had darshan, aarathi was taken and then Swami went inside, got into the car at the back and came out. We filled our eyes with His form and waited till we could no longer see the car. Swami had blessed Brindavan with Bliss for 45 days and it is our duty now to ruminate and enjoy all that we had experienced.

Sai travel News: June 8th Swami arrived at His Puttaparthi Ashram 10 minutes ago (Local time - INDIA) appx 1.50 p.m. welcomed by devotees gathered on the decorated streets and ashram. Swami blessed and smiled at the devotees standing on the both side of the street. Many devotees threw flowers at Swami's car and few devotees broke coconut in front of Swamis car. The Local puttaparthi drum band was present at Vidyagiri arch playing drums to welcome Swami's arrival. Swami has been away from Puttaparthi for over 2 months. Puttaparthi is once again full of life & joy furthermore, with devotees arriving from Brindavan , Bangalore, it will be back to typical "Parthi day" very soon. read more
